I just took a 52 plate diesel auto Tourer in PX to save it from potential scrap against my well sorted 03 75 saloon diesel manual. It needs a bit of work but good to drive...
On the Kenneth theme, how about Kenneth Cope? The car copes with your requirements admirably. He, of course, played Marty Hopkirk (famous automotive surname) in Randall and Hopkirk Deceased.
Headliners are always a problem on 75s, but they are easy enough to fix, strip the old covering, and glue on a new one, but use the correct glue, or keep an eye on tthe owners club for sale, you might find a decent one .
Now then ... these days it seems strange a Rover 75 at PNHQ without Allegroman! Kenneth, hmmm. I suggest an addition: Kenneth Williams! What a great and hilarious character. What's more it gives a good excuse for doing a ridiculous impression! 😄
British cars nether used to have hanging cielings,go back to the the time of the Morris minor and the other cars from Britain with the wire spring holding system
There is a 1956 film called "Son of Fred" with some big name comedy stars. My 2 stand outs are Peter (Sellers) and Spike (Milligan) Or call it Archie (me) and I will donate £20 to the cause!
You starting to collect more vehicles again like having to many before ok they are all yours but your going to run out of room or have your landlord back on you again but don't blame you if it was cheap
Sticking with the Deirdre Barlow theme, how about naming the 75 Blanche Hunt after her mother. She looked like a Rover 75 with her glasses on.
Ah I see. Looks like everyone agrees with you
Blanche Hunt did look like a Rover 75, as it happens.
Mustard name it Blanche Hunt
I would call the car Anthony "Wedgwood" Benn - after the politician. Great car, Paul 😊
I like that
Diesel Pre-Heater too, bonus. Time for a look at Blanche's EGR? You may be onto something there.
In the next video 😊
Blanche Hunt is a fantastic name for the 75 😂😅
What am I missing here? 😄
Nice one another 75 tourer on the channel well done captain 😁 Wedgewood is one of the best colours for the 75
Usually I prefer a dark colour, but it does suit this.
@ProjectNigel name suggestion - Wilma as in Fred and Wilma 😂

Cool! Another nice early Tourer. Perfect everyday car for you Paul. The Tourer is just as good looking as the saloon I reckon 😊
I prefer the tourer
Deirdre Barlow
I would be over the moon if you called it Kenneth. My Dad's name and I took it as my middle name when he passed away. I would absolutely love it 🥰🥰
Kenneth it is 😊
@@ProjectNigelOh mate that's brilliant. Thank you 😊🙏😊
😊
Am glad to see it Passed the mot but why the advisorys for heavily undersealed they all came from the factory heavily undersealed 😂😂😂.
Not sure
I wish they'd told them that at Longbridge!
Nice 45 tourer Paul. I think you have a keeper. Make it nice and use it. Don’t worry about the name.
Everything gets a name
Wedgewood blue.. lovely colour had 75 2.0 V6 2001 Y and my MGF se X452 KFR..

Go Go Action Mustard!! 🦸👍

It's like everything it looks good from afar which it is but it's what she rides like?😮
Drives perfectly well

Nice thinking
Lovely Tourer Paul! What about Wedgwood Willy?
😄

I will at some point
Now then ... these days it seems strange a Rover 75 at PNHQ without Allegroman!
Kenneth, hmmm. I suggest an addition: Kenneth Williams! What a great and hilarious character. What's more it gives a good excuse for doing a ridiculous impression! 😄
I agree about Allegroman!
Kenneth Williams was my thought originally, and yes - more bad impressions need to feature in my videos.
Very nice find! Lovely 75 👍
Very nice car Paul, that I would get rid of the land rover for, lovely colour to.
Thank you
75/ZTT Estates just look so good Captain.
They do
I've always liked Rover 75's in that colour.
Zaphod Beeblebrox would make an excellent name.
Indeed ;)
No more carry on he's Charles Hawtrey & that's final 😉😂
I have already had a Charles?
Surely Nigel is the only keeper. Excellent Viney impersonation and a very flippable vegetarian edition 75, good job Sir Mustard of Rover.
Nigel is my fun car, this 75 makes a great everyday car that can tow.
@ totally get it, but not a keeper
New mustard! Lets call you dijon
You're welcome to do that! 😊
Richard Headingly, you can always shorten it if things turn out badly 😉
Time for a trim😝
I have all 4 window regs if needed
I still have a few here. Do you know if the Freelander uses the same units?
British cars nether used to have hanging cielings,go back to the the time of the Morris minor and the other cars from Britain with the wire spring holding system
Yes I remember most cars having this
The car has to be called Mick Jagger now 😂
That was a good impression!
Elsie Tanner if you want go back a few years for a name Paul, nice find.
Was she known for these cars? 😄
Does the orange jacket still smell ? Seems to inspiring a more dynamic attitude when worn !
I haven't noticed it this week. Interesting theory l, though.
It looks like Clint to me due to being a bit on the rugged side.
Good point
Call it Cliff Hanger.
There is a 1956 film called "Son of Fred" with some big name comedy stars. My 2 stand outs are Peter (Sellers) and Spike (Milligan)
Or call it Archie (me) and I will donate £20 to the cause!
Archie is a good name, that can be a future car. 😊
@@ProjectNigel 😁
Since its nearly christmas.....Yule Brynner
Roger the Rover. Yes its obvious but I like it.
Ok i have suggestions, as said before , son of fred, and blu tac , as it holds shit together
Nice idea
Q: Why did the chewing gum cross the road? A: Because it was stuck to the chicken’s foot. 😊
Good one!
When a car manufacturer can't get something as simple as a headlining correct, it makes you think!
All cars have this Problem sooner or late
they did - after 20 years in a rusty soggy wrot box they normally do SAG
@@AndyPipkin-dj8sy not in all cars 😊
@@yorkshire6458 British or German ones maybe 😂
Lots of car manufacturers got this wrong
Call it Deirdre
😆
How about calling it Drew Peacock?
Nice name
Ivan Smellchurch is it's name. Wish it was my name
You could change it
How about Eileen (as in Come on) as it's a Toora loora toora loo rye aye
I'd call the car " cecil"
It does suit
@@ProjectNigel It should absolutely be called "Cecil"
Call it rodney
Doctor Dolittle, 'cos it's done little recently
😄
call it Diddy cuz its gonna have lots of holes to be filled
😳
Armitage Shanks.
Name or toilet reference?
@ProjectNigel Name. Too good a name for bathroom fittings. Always thought it would suit an old engineering firm.
A rattle from the door card? What about the rattle from the tractor engine? So annoying. And a Manuel? Sell it paul.
It not sound like a V6, but at least it's decent on fuel
ah ye😎😎
Mick Jagger, more like Stephen Hawking
bit obvious but have you ever called a Rover Josiah? or Maybe Charles Darwin.
Not yet
Donald Sinden for no particular reason
I like it
There's nothing new about that 😢
New to me
Cousin Nigel…..
You starting to collect more vehicles again like having to many before ok they are all yours but your going to run out of room or have your landlord back on you again but don't blame you if it was cheap
There's no worry of running out of room just yet.
Westley Wallis both or just the one some oldies just don't want to be in the crusty rusty sky left to be eco nest abit of tlc is better
True
Kyki Dee. M
Blu-Tac🟦🚙💨....................👀😛!
.... fixes anything! 😀
Actually I like blu tac. Holds shit together for a it until it eventually falls apart due to terrible manufacturing
It certainly does! Not only that but its rustproof and re-usable!
Fixes anything? How about my clock radio?
Well it'll fix it to the table!😀
