I hope you enjoy my piano cover of "Supermarket Flowers" - a truly beautiful song and my personal favourite from Ed Sheeran's 'Divide'.
I decided to include Schubert's 'Ave Maria' as I felt both songs share something poignant.. despite being written in different centuries. Human emotions are always current and saying good bye to one we love is never easy.. but music always helps.

my grandma found this and wants me to play it when she has her funeral. It's beautiful, and being the only person in the family musical enough to play this, i see it as my duty for when that time comes. :(
I have no words for how beautiful your version of this song is. My father who was kept from me all my life passed away 2 months after we reconciled at the age of 57. My heart hurts for him. I barely knew him but I know he loved me and I loved him the moment I set eyes on him. No song I’ve heard has words for our reality. This is perfect. I will be playing this for his services this Saturday. Thank you for sharing. You are talented and your music gives me peace.

Alas, the left hand is not enough for this sweet arrangement. And alasser no. Not 10 operative toes. But never mind. Been there and played lots of great music (see Wiki) ... now I have to listen instead to younger people who give me joy like this. But it does stir up the desire to go back 50 or 60 years!!!!!
I just read it and listened to this at the same time. I don't know why but I feel kind of sad. I guess we all have to make the most of the time we do have. I'm sure you were a great pianist, Kurt.

I played this multiple times already...and whenever I heard this, it feels like it mends broken hearted people and crushes their soul at the same time because of how beautiful this masterpiece is
Ed Sheeran’s song makes me dread eventually losing my mother. Her favorite song is Ave Maria. This hit me very hard. It is so beautiful. I will have to save this song for what I hope is wayyy in the future. This will bring me great comfort.
Like I said earlier your piano covers are therapeutic Paul. You are one of the best piano players I've come across. This song Supermarket Flowers is one of my favorite track and to hear it you play is awesome man. Good job.

When I received your notification, well I jumped on it!
Ok I was expecting a beautiful cover, as usual, but here I was transported ...
I really think that music is one of the most beautiful ways to express yourself.
I felt obliged to write something longer, because there are more than shivers it caused me ... I cried, from the first seconds I felt the tears rise.
I liked everything from beginning to end, but just speaking about it, I found it just magical, perfect.
Finally, yes, I agree, I'm an Ed Sheeran's fan, but also a fan of what you do.

Really like your cover! Best thing in the morning. Music is not my major though I can play violin and piano, but I still really wanna learn how to compose a little piece or cover. It’s just I don’t know how to start.
Starting is the hardest thing! I always skate around things for a while.. circling them like a shark before I finally feel able to sit down and start.. it starts with a simple decision.. which note or chord is first.. then.. choose another one.. :-) .. Of course it takes some time to develop your own style and taste.. but just start with something simple.. and.. be kind to yourself :-) .. don't give up.. that's the main thing.. and accept the fact that creativity doesn't happen by magic.. it really is.. in the end.. a bunch of tiny little decisions.. and of course you might make different ones next week.. or next year.. but if you wait until you are 'ready' .. well.. you might never do it.. and that would be a pity! .. Wish you luck and of course.. a little inspiration.. but mostly... nice decisions :-)
