You have inspired me to do an open top tank with terrestrial plants. By the way I have been collecting Japanese figurines since I was a young man in the military. I take them out and look at them on occasion but have never really had a place to leave them out and enjoy them. It looks like my fish room will be the perfect place. Thanks for the inspiration.
Lightning Storms always remind me of the dog i used to have. One day he was sitting outside in his kennel, when lightning struck on the neighbours patio.(a few meters form his kennel) Ever since that day i would always Know hours in advance when a lightning Storm was coming,just by how that dig would start to behave. Even when there were no signs of it he always knew it was coming.crazy!!😯

It looks amazing I wish I could scape.as good as that, mine would just look like a jungle 😂 although I have now got plants and roots in some.of the shrimp tanks and planning more for the fish tanks. Love storms…sadly my New Orleans hurricane rescue Bassett Hound, Goofy Boofy, has to be drugged, poor guy. That tank is stunning…I love it! The little figurines are great. I really like the scholar on top.Looking forward to seeing it grown out. Aphids are a scourge. Had many wars with them in my roses when I gardened. The rest of my beds were all native plants and they didn’t really get them.

🐠Cute baby Angels. It's a tank that is very visually pleasing. Your placement of everything is perfect. The gap between the tree and the waterfall on the right! That would have had me stumped for days! The larger spider in the back and smaller one in front gives it depth. Love it.

Im amazed you can grow bonzi trees out of an aquarium. Id love to try. Are they hardy plants i have a green thumb when it comes to land plants but for some reason i cant grow aquarium plants. 😢. Id love to have all plants in my aquariums...also planning on a fish room when i get my own place. You have wonderful advice and wisdom. The angel babies are so cute. Do u use fertilizer for your plants planted in the sand substrate
No 99% of the time nothing but the fish waste. If I ever err and decide to it’s just some slow release pond fertilizer tabs at about 1/3 the dose.
What’s the terrestrial moss you used around the pot?
