I feel its a nice change from the typecast most black characters get. We're either the ultra righteous god fearing savior, or the thug. To see a black woman play an evil genius mastermind is a welcomed change of pace
It's hard to tell what her endgame is it, that's why I like her. I don't think she is helping Homelander and Vought. I think she has her own agenda and is playing everyone like a game of chess.
Idk if its just me but I feel like the most out-of-pocket, most socially unacceptable pieces of media do diversity the best ironically. I feel like everyone else plays it too safe and they end up making caricatures and stereotypes of people instead... which again is ironic.

Butcher showing genuine concern for hughie here. Another time was when the van rolled and hughie was seriously hurt. Butcher isn’t a bad person like he thinks he has been through a lot of bad stuff is all.
We got the baby arm like in Deadpool. Homelander using his x ray vision to see the rotting of butchers brain. Like he said before it would be like putting down a wounded dog. There is no real challenge there anymore. Which is why he says I am going to miss us. Butcher doesn’t have much time. I’m the comics he had a ticking clock but that was a limit on time to execute a master plan not that he was dying.
So does anybody else think that Victoria Neuman's daughter was inspired by Ben from Umbrella academy?? I mean that's the first place I went to in my head. lol
