Now that both BCS and Succession are over, maybe he can win it, and that's a maybe because I don't have all the shows on my head right now, but I know Adam Scott with Severance will be one of the nominees, etc., so maybe now with less competition he can win it, but he shouldn't have won one long time ago like you claim when the others were better than him.

I think there's so many great things about this show, especially the acting and visuals. Admittedly though I did find myself feeling irritated by the political messaging forced in it, especially when its coming from a misinformed place. Having Deep harken back to Heard pooping in Depp's bed is awkward as it's being said by Deep, who's a villain. Depp was an innocent abuse victim, and it sounds like the show-runners are on Heard's side. My other gripe is with Homelander's mention of the Nerverland Ranch in a derogatory way, when, once again, Jackson was innocent as far as we actually know. Sister Sage's constant racial remarks to Homelander are also quite insufferable, because she's making baseless assumptions about a man who in honesty sees himself as being above everyone, it isn't necessarily race-based. I dunno, I liked the visuals and the comedy and this stellar acting, but its the little bits like that that annoyed me in truth. 😅

Especially since I don't find the political commentary very funny. It's every few minutes they try to be as edgy as possible while being woke which is definitely some sort of paradox... Homelander = trump now, the homelander trial was pretty much 1:1 of the Rittenhouse trial. It went from being superheroes = celebrities metaphors to being superheroes = politics metaphors
Few things i dont like this season. Vicky is too powerful, if theyre obviously trying to take her out it makes no sense that she wouldnt just pop all their heads and move on. MM Losing all the weight, losing the beard, doesnt even seem like the same dude. Frenchy has a gay/bi relationship to please the modern movment. Bringing in more mainstream actors for camios or main roles. Stull has plenty of classic shenanigans that makes it great but theyre making me hesitant for the final season already.
