If there was a vote, I would vote Austin for the Cybertruck, and Tulsa as a battery ONLY giga or tera factory. Battery production is the current bottle neck. Giga Tulsa or Tera Tulsa would go a long way. The semi alone needs huge amounts of batteries.
From here in McGregor, Texas I see the Tesla future is bright enough to build in BOTH Tulsa, OK and Austin, TX. Needed: Trucks, cars, HVAC, Powerwalls, StarLink, and Starship.
You are mispronouncing the city: it is pronounced (Tuh sla). You are sayin it as Too,sla). Just trying to help. Try googling a Tulsa news channel. Thanks for your work.
Right now Tesla has a shortage of places to build the Semi and the Cybertruck that the only way Tulsa gets it if they literally give him the land and tax incentives to build. Elon might be considering this to get a better deal from Austin however I think he does not have time for that BS. Tulsa would be I think in addition to Tx not in place of Austin. I think they have already started in Hutto with the initial groundwork.
Great content...i like the frequent updates you give. Keep up the good work
Thank you Mike.
With its deep background in aviation, Tulsa already has lots on engineers. Plus, it’s 420 friendly :-)
Brent Taylor I know
Is there anything new about battery day
Not yet Ryan. This is the latest I reported about the Tesla Battery day 2-3 days ago. Have you seen it? ruclips.net/video/T2rPQJiRJ8g/видео.html

HQ and research center in Austin and the factory in Tulsa.
Can not compete with no state tax in TEXAS. OKLAHOMA has 5% state tax but the highest tax on groceries in the country.

I live in Tulsa and want to be an engineer
Austin IMHO.
Maybe both one to replace the one in California and the new one
Its surprising Tesla would build factories an any state (e.g. Oklahoma or Texas) that doesn’t allow them to have company owned stores in the state.
Tulsa for Semi?
I am interested, will take a look at the ad, I am a chemical engineer not sure if Tesla needs my knowledge and half way around the world.
Tulsa will be a great place for Tesla or any other manufacturer
Going to get more bang for your buck in Tulsa!
Why not do both?!?!
hm so Tulsa for Cybertruck and austin for Roadster 2.0 ?

Tulsa is not pronounced as toosla. The "ul" has the sound like in the word "dull".
Or like a soft "a"....or like Jethro Tull.
Tulsa is NOT pronounced TOOLZA. The UL in Tulsa sounds like the UL in the words hull, dull, mull, cull, gull.
Tesla Texas
