Cute Baby Raccoons in Trouble, Mother to the Rescue

  • I heard a thud followed by a bunch of strange screaming. A baby raccoon fell out the window of the building they were nesting in. The mother keeps traveling between the two crying babies, while looking for a way to bring the fallen one back up. The racoon in the building was more freaked out, they couldn't see their sibling. The situation lasted about 45 minutes, the mother went between the two screaming babies many more times, but I cut out for times sake.

What a good Mama ❣️ She looked stressed, going back and forth from one screaming baby to the other. But it also looks like she carefully mapped out the safest way to haul her baby back up, and she succeeded.

8:20 momma just studying intently at the structure how she gonna get Lil baby back upstairs. Utterly amazing. People think animals are stupid. This video proves otherwise. Such a heartwarming ending brought tear to me eye. God I love animals and nature.

My thoughts too. I watched a video of a baby bear following his mom all the way up a rock-face, the cub studying the cliff for hand-holds, making course corrections. YES!, they're very intelligent. ruclips.net/video/xAB9-VGIkzM/видео.html It is Man that proves how stupid he is, when he wrongly thinks the Creatures " dumb". We can watch any Young with his or her mom, and see MUCH intelligence, and also courage, like the baby mountain goat courageously crossing a rushing snow-melt river to obey-follow his mom to the other side. ruclips.net/video/rFcCYCq85HA/видео.html Those videos are IMPRESSIVE!! and Moving! Inspiring! Wow! To get the links for you, I just watched them again, and the Creatures have much to teach us about " Calm, Assertive Energy", " faith" that refuses fear. Highly recommended.

In a beginning we are animals, descendent of apes, and yes some of us , sadly a lot are stupid, but nature makes its own way and you could see it in this video no human intervention nor help of any kind, she was able to take the child up there even if she knew she was been watched.

Baby raccoons are called kits. They stay with their mother until they are about a year old. Raccoons are very talkative, having a hundred or so different vocalizations for various situations. Apparently these little guys are still at the MommyMommyMommy stage.

This mom raccoon is a better parent than some of the people in my neighborhood who shoot and trap them. Heartless humans, they are. Raccoons care for their young better than some people, have more capacity for bonding and caretaking. Fourleggeds sometimes just have more of what some of the two leggeds can't ever seem to get right.

To observe what you were able to catch on tape, totally worth the wait...and suspense. What a great "home" they have. Thanks for letting them stay around. Man! What an ordeal. The other baby was freaking out. Not knowing if it should go back down and follow mommy. Then mom goes to reassure it like twice so it will stay put. Then she goes through this repetitive arduous task of getting the stray(is it just my thoughts or should that old of a baby know how to follow what mommy does) to follow her. Then when she tries to lead the way, the straggler looks the other way, not even instinctively knowing it better follow mom. A baby like that could have an I'll fate, call of the wild and all. This is a very good video and some good screenshots.. I'm glad the mother just finally dragged in the youngster. I wonder if that baby is not catching on, or maybe it was one of its first big journeys. The mom was very busy and did a fabulous job. Very sweet video. Thanks for putting here

That's why God makes them and baby pets cute. Because when all you do is cry, poop and sleep you need something to make people want you around. J/k for all you sensitive folk.

The human babies are by far the most annoying of ALL creatures. They sound off on airplanes, in the grocery stores, restaurants.etc. Baby animals are more endearing & don't have temper tantrums. I'll take animal babies any day.

But for the Raccoon, taking care of its babies and feeding them is the foremost and probably the only work. Not watching TV or anything other than parenting to be annoying :)

Nice house. I had a couple of them who had gotten separated from their mom. They were younger than those ones. Only had teeth about to break through. They would climbin my ewe bushes to about 10 feet off the ground. I put yogurt on a pole which had a flat endon it and stuck it up into the bush by them. They guzzled it down. After a while if they saw I had yogurt, they would run over and run up my body and stick their faces into handfuls of yogurt I held for them. It Was very cute.
After a while they became reunited with their family. They were still trusting with me for a while but then regained their appropriate fear of people...

How did gravity pop itself into existence, and by what power did everything pop into existence, and begin evolving to a higher state? The most preposterous lie is believed by the most people.

Great video capture, notice this mother was a bit distracted and conflicted once she noticed the human but she obviously knows and trusts the human to some degree! Not all babies make this much noise, some die quietly if a trapper takes mother away and couldn't find her nest (leaving your home to smell like roadkill next week after babies starve to death).
PS. This is near the age a raccoon will vacate a den; a raccoon mother in your attic IS ALWAYS TEMPORARY. You can resolve such conflicts without wasting time & money on ineffective, knee-jerk reaction of trapping that will end up costing a lot more if babies die within your home. ~ 411 Wildlife.
