Honestly, felties should come with a warning. They're super addictive to make! Are there any questions you have about using an embroidery machine to make felties? Let me know below and I'll do my best to answer them.
I would love to see how you set it up to make multiples on one sheet. And if you buy patterns from other sources, how to acknowledge the creator in order to resell? Or do you have to? Also, there are a lot of videos on RUclips that show the actual stitching happening.....I would like to see what buttons with explanation you are using. Thank you in advance!
@@tarnel72 I have a video in the works to show how to place different felties in one hoop which will be up within the next two weeks and I was also planning on showing how my machine operates so will definitely record that. With regards to credit, most feltie designers state that you can use the pattern to create and sell items - just not re-sell the actual pattern but it’s important to check the T&Cs on each site that you buy from x
Love the video! Where do you buy the felt?
@@SewprettystitchesHTX thank you! I buy most of it from a small department store close to where I live but also buy from The Felt Fairy on eBay.
Thank you for this video! I’m looking to start adding embroidered items to my shop and found you while researching. Just subscribed & would love a video showing how you learned to make your own designs! Thank you!!
Thanks for subscribing 😊 I’m still in the process of learning how to properly use my design software (the websites I’ve gotten these patterns from in the video are linked). Will definitely try to make a video explaining once I’m confident - really struggled to find any good tutorials when I first started.
Nice video!!! Coukd you spell out the machine you use? Would love a video that showed how you do these felties from start ro finish, showing which buttons/settings you use and everything!!! Thanks,!!!
I just got my machine this week,,, I made some cute gnome felties, and I crocheted some cozies ,, how do you glue the felties to the yarn?? I wanna sell them but I am afraid if I use hot glue they won't hold up in the wash??? Also is the creatology felt at michaels ok to use??
Hiya - very exciting about your machine! I recommend hand washing when using hot glue. I’m afraid I’ve never used felt from Michaels but have used a variety of felt sheets from different makers and they’ve worked 😊
Where have you gotten the felt sheets from? Any recs?
I get them from my local craft store and they’re not branded so can’t suggest any particular felt. Sorry!
Can that machine embroider on vinyl and PU leather as well?
Yes, it can 😊
I CANNOT FIND THIS MACHINE. WHERE CAN I SHOP FOR THIS? OR DO YOU HAVE ANOTHER BEGINNER FRIENDLY SUGGESTIONS FOR SEWING MACHINES SIMILAR TO THIS?? THANK YOU!
I’m sorry you’re struggling to find it. I bought this from a local sewing machine store in the UK. I’ve only used this particular brand so it may be worth looking up other machine embroidery tutorials or reviews on RUclips to get more info 😊
Is this machine easy to thread?
The automatic threader doesn’t always work perfectly so I sometimes need to manually thread it. It’s a bit of a pain at times
