If you don't care how people see your then you don't need to change a thing. However, this also means that you are fine with rejection, not getting people out to your shows, and not being offered roles. It is her problem, and she is not autistic. Both can be true. Ppl quite literally don’t know what autism is cause they only view very obvious social meltdowns combined with developmental issues as autism. And that in and of itself is harmful. That mindset that oh u know it all cause ur son is autistic is wild. You’re not the one who is autistic and reading more can help. The issue isn’t ppl are suddenly autistic. After many years of delusion, I finally accepted that I have obnoxious tendencies and sometimes come off as childish. Whenever I feel like everyone's "out to get me" I take deep breathes and ask myself "what am I doing wrong." Instead of questioning others' actions or pointing fingers, I analyze my own behavior and how I'm presenting myself to the situation. I'm not a victim, I'm not special, and it's nobody elses responsibility for how I feel. What helps me maintain this homeostasis is combination of adequate rest (7-8hrs most days), regular exercise, and a healthy diet. We have to take care of ourselves before we can tell others how to live.

If there’s a problem everywhere you go with everyone you come in contact with, it’s common sense to assume you’re the problem. Issa owes her nothing. Amanda seems like she needs strong therapy with a specialist who will not coddle her. That person will be very hard to find these days, and she would have to be willing to improve herself. She could be autistic and a narcissist at the same time, but I strongly do not believe her behavioral traits can be blamed on neurodivergency. I've noticed that a lot of cluster B tend to "lead" with the idea that they're neurodivergent, most likely to imply to neurotypicals that whatever cluster B behavior they display could be explainable as neurodivergency. It's a dangerous talking point these people propogate which puts regular NDs at risk.

1:45 When she was a child, others tried to speak wisdom to her mother: Why do you let her talk so…She's too fresh, she's too fresh.
    Her mother: That's just Amanda.
When parents are enablers, and indulge their children without teaching them self-control, they're raising adults that will be unhappy and unsettled in life, imo. This woman, Amanda, seems to be a good example of someone who never really had to learn how to be an adult. She's clearly at odds with people, trying hard to justify her “energy”.
It appears to me that she wants to exist on a pedestal, being constantly adored, respected, (and excused for her self-indulgent behavior) without ever even attempting to listen, learn, or show respect back.
I don't detect much peace…just loud protestations about how right she is.
Just my impressions from how she represented herself in this video. I could be wrong.

What's frustrating about Amanda Seales is that she's genuinely an academic, talented writer, comedian, actress, producer, and speaker. But she gets so caught up in these interpersonal dramas that, in the grand scheme of things, don't really matter.
There's no clear strategy or purpose behind airing her grievances just to shame people about her mistreatment. Though partially justifiable, It’s unfortunate that her resentment and spiteful reactions are starting to define her more than her actual work. This overshadows everything meaningful that she's producing. It's also frustrating to see her shine in collaborations with reputable collaborater but is the risk worth it to collaborate with her if this is how she chooses to talk about her experiences? she's fully capable of being professional and advancing through Black Hollywood easily. Instead, she’s fixated on proving herself to those who ostracize her, when she could be focusing on her message and using these people to further the causes she believes in more efficiently.
She craves adoration and love, which is very human, but it feels wasted on people whose values and goals are fundamentally different from hers and it's sad because the fall out of her professional relationships are all so unnecessary.
