Al-Quds Bard College

Al-Quds Bard College for the Arts and Sciences represents the first and only dual-degree partnership between a U.S. and Palestinian institution of higher education. Al-Quds University and Bard College joined forces in 2009 in a unique partnership that provides student-centered liberal arts and sciences education to Palestinian students and prepares them to assume the responsibilities of leadership and self-governance. Al-Quds Bard College has graduated nearly 500 teachers from the Master of Arts in Teaching program, training them in student-centered pedagogy that has impacted over 100,000 students in every Palestinian district.
