This was around the time that I visited the EBT as a kid. Can't wait to go back! Just restoring the 5 miles to the Colgate grove wye will be impressive, but imagine if the new foundation can start rebuilding the other 30 miles worth of rails. It could be the East coast's answer to the Durango & Silverton or Cumbres & Toltec!
Your video from October of 2017 was recommended by RUclips from another video I was watching and I’m very glad. I subscribed and went back to the beginning and was mesmerized by the quality and detail of your layout and your skills to frame each of the videos you posted. You are truly an artist and it shows in the build and weathering on your layout and the videos. I have caught up now and was surprised to see that the first video I saw of yours was apparently the last one of your layout. Does the layout still exist and what plans do you have for it? Will you be posting any more videos of it?
Not sure if 16, 17, and 18 have the exactly the same length tenders coal tons water gallons etc. even though 18 is the largest and heaviest of all of the 6
I really enjoy watching this video. To think this group has put 5 steam locomotive back in service, in 2001 is heart warming I wish your group continued grand results and continue progress even now in 2024
Wonderful footage! Looking forward to the railroad's return.

My guy, you predicted the future. Also, EBT 16 is back!
14:08 imagine a Karen hearing that while she is trying to sleep
Man poor 17. She's creaking and all slow. Hopefully she's better if EBT restores her soon. Can't wait for 16 to return.
Excellent video. Can’t wait for its return to steam.
6:13 a railfan named Marv screams like a little girl.
#16: I'm about to save this railroad
And he sure saved the Railroad
Lovey video
Does 15 use a Baldwin 3 chime and what kind of hideous whistle does 17 use
yes 15 dose have a 3 chime. do not know about 17
dferg100 no I know 15 has a three chime but is it a Baldwin 3 chime?
I read its a Crosby 5 inch 3 chime
Sounds like an overblown Crosby on 17. Once it warmed up during the tribute it sounded normal.
@@steelrail-rs1sk 17's whistle is damaged, they never got around to fixing it, thats why it shreaks
Can I borrow some of your footage to make a video celebrating the railroad's return?
0:46 8:51 and 6:00 15, 14 and 17 bells
Hello, is it ok if I use some of your footage for a music video? I’ll be sure to credit you
13:07 17’s whistle back to normal after screaming like a little girl
Did the water finally get forced out of one of the chimes?
@@SadFairlie I believe so
You mean 13:06
@@nicholasmedovich8691The screaming is gone for good, as when 16 was using it, screaming was scarce.

I wonder if RGS 20 can visit the East Broad Top in the future just in case for a special occasional event?
that’s a long journey
