  • Back during the EBT Steam Days, most EBT Coal Trains would use a Combine because crews and miners rather more space than riding in a caboose. On May 15th, 2023, We attending a Photo Special by Carl Franz featuring EBT 2-8-2 16, a Boxcar, 6 Hoppers, & 2 Coaches. The Crew and Staff at EBT did an amazing job putting on a show for the photographers that attended the charter. Now sit back and relax as we watch 16 pull the Miner's Mixed. Enjoy!

    Really nicely done. We were obviously next to each other for some runby's, but yours are much superior. I was hoping somebody would post a good video.

    Probably what makes this narrow gauge railroad unique is that it’s the oldest in North America. I am curious to ask how close are the cities of Altoona and Orbisonia Pennsylvania both are rich in two different railroad towns. Altoona been home of a very famous locomotive that my great great grandfather operated in his day in Orbisonia, being the base of operations for the east broad top railroad.

    Nice video's of a great historic railroad. Now if only you could make it with all natural sounds instead of all of the unnatural shutter clicking of the camera. Turn the shutter sound off when filming!!!

      Tough to turn off on a DSLR. Now a mirrorless camera--Yes.
