Today we're going to check out Greystar's Shangri-La Class!
The detailing on this model is amazing, and this is the design that the Titan-A is based on.
The Shangri-La is from the 2280's and was a prototype.
It comes equipped with a 2 types of torpedoes, strong shields and phasers.
How will it fare against the USS Reliant and the USS Excelsior?

Let it also be said that this Shangri-La mod is using a completely different and brand new balancing system. Me and Hexagonal Nexul are completely overhauling and remastering the balancing and power scaling for the Enterprise, TOS, TMP and TLE era mods to better fit what we have done for the TNG, 25th century and beyond power scaling. From testing, battles now last longer and eras can easily be determined by power, although TOS TMP and TLE are all close in power, as most are of a 100 year gap (~2264-2363). The NX era ships are quite weak, and from testing, the TOS Constitution can do exactly what she does in "In a mirror darkly". The TMP ships are closer and power, as it only is a few years after TOS, but you can still notice a difference. TLE ships start off about the same as the TNG ships, up until the late TLE/Pre TNG ships.
Let it also be said that the USS Missouri would defeat the IJN Yamato. While the Yamato was significantly larger & had better armor & more guns, the Missouri had better fire control, better guns, & was faster. Klingon v Romulan: Draw. Both have cloaks, Klingons prefer smaller, faster, guerilla tactics. Romulans prefer obese warships & intel that fails. Both prefer kamikaze runs to literally anything else. Cardassians: Romulans without cloaks. Dominion: Romulans without cloaks & a fanatical religious class. Borg: "We don't see the problem here you are all now ours thanks for playing." Federation: *sleepy USA waking up from a nice nap*...."wait a hot stinking minute here you little snots need to start talking nice to each other RIGHT ABOUT NOW. Thank you."
You can change the mods all you want, won't change this outcome.

I really love that ship's design. It's like the Connie's more aggressive kid sister.
The reasons why this ship works is exactly why the Titan-A doesn't.

The ship is better because the ship is painted with white and smooth paint instead of this weird dark metalic hull type with no lights inside. I liked the titan, But i hate that they made it the enterprise G. The G from dj curtis is 1000% better

I too have always liked the Shangri La class compared to the Titan-A/Enterprise-G. I'm not surprised how quickly it took down all three ships.
😲Captain. I love this ship, yes style and colors.. and great weapons and shields.. nice.. the design yes like in Picard but this one looks better I find.. very nice.. Is it me or the warp drive kicks in fast wow.. lol. yes good thing no portal device but would like to see the Shrike with that is the game.. just saying.. Love the Reliant but not Khan so very nice, but eee oh my .. Sulu. ouch.. and would have been good to see more of the Ent B. in the movies.. 🙄eeh crumbs.. It's got to be able to fire at least 6 torpedos from the bow and 4 from the stern. The current configuration seems far too limited. Other than weaponry, it seems like a cool ship to play as.

Ya that is a really nice looking ship. Also those phasers are way too strong. It is always an issue when they massively outdamage a torpedo volley.
Yea that's one thing I didn't agree with in St Picard. Calling in a "NEO Constitution" instead of the correct name of "NEO Shangri La". I mean come on. They are two different class's of ship.

My personal head canon is the new Enterprise-G is just the same class as the Titan-A. I hate and completely despise the renaming of a ship (while in the same navy), it’s a disgraceful and disrespectful to both ships and crew legacies and sacrifices.

Are the "Post-TOS Photons" modeled after TMP? (i.e. The Motion Picture torpedo used to destroy the asteroid in the worm hole scene)
yes they are, I added both types as TMP took place in the 2270s and TWOK in the 2280s. The Shangri-La was launched in the early 2280s, so I thought id add both and make it more of an experimental torpedo for the time period
Let me guess....after loosing the Reliant, Excelsior and the Enterprise B - Retro reprogrammed the conditions of the test and added USS Lakota Circa 2373 into the game.....and still lost 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Nice battles. I like this design and think it works best as a late 23rd century ship. In my opinion the Titan A should have been a Galaxy class or a variant of that class 🖖

I thought the Titan-A was alright, in a pedestrian sort of way. Somewhat awkward looking, but ridiculous as the Enterprise flagship.. It looks better here, scaled down
Nice ship but i gotta say it, the Neo Connie is a much better looking ship than this one. The nacelles struts look like they will break off with a well placed torpedo. The Enterprise G would wipe the floor with this ship
