Locals:"Build affordable housing...but NOT in MY neighborhood"!
We need to require a certain percentage of affordable housing in every town on Oahu.
If congestion is a concern, the road should prohibit on-street parking. That way you have two usable lanes for ingress and egress.
You will notice that the solution that makes the most sense is seldomly adopted because people don’t like change.
Lol sounds like the ones that complaint in waikiki,hi kai, kailua never ending
BUILD IT...
It's all about the money. Tax free for the church.
This is pretty much ridiculous already, why they like build houses in one area already congested. So dumb .
It’s Oahu, everywhere that affordable housing is would actually benefit low income families is “congested”. Affordable housing should be built in every community not just the ones that are too far from work and stores to help.
You're on an Island, you only have so much land space.
Really yah? It's like a one way street into that area and already has heavy traffic from 4 am onwards.
I’m wondering? Who gonna make money?
The catholic church and the developers.
