I cannot thank you enough, I'm getting started with making shea lotions to start my own business and I'm pretty excited to begin!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge i really appreciate it 🤗🙏🏼
Thank you! This is so helpful. Absolutely love this! You are apro for sure. My question is how do the colors stay after shipping. Like does it thicken up and stay individual colors or over time does it mix up too much and become a mess? I dont know the science behind it - so what keeps the colors from mixing together?
hello, I enjoy the video and the tutorial as well as a recipe but my question to you is where did you purchase your jar with The pump I have been looking for that container with the pump, but was not able to locate it any or any help you can give me with that would be greatly appreciate it
Hi I was looking for a lotion based recipe. Ho can we covert this to grams? ? can I use soft & silky for crafters choice? Aside from shea butter what other butter can we use I only have mango, kokum, avocado, and pumpkin seed butters Thank you so much!!!!
Hi! Thank you for this video! I did something similar to this and it came out great! But after a week or so the color turned to one gray color!!! Why did it do that??? I used water soluble dye. Please help!
@@blakeleeskincare Thank you for responding. They actually bled into each other. They didn’t fade. Is this normal? I’m pretty sure it’s using the dye. I’m super disappointed because I like the look of multicolored products. Maybe mica would work better.
Yes it is, as long as the water is not cold. Sometimes heating the water can help it bind better but I don't always do this and I don't have any issues
Correct. They have different properties. As an emulsifier it will do its job but it doesn't condition the way that BTMS50 does. That goes for any emulsifier. It won't be an 100% match but at different percentage rates it will emulsify
You have to factor it into the formula for however much you want to add. When I write my formulas I add them into a calculator for accuracy. However sometimes because of the decimals the values don't always come out to 100% on the dot. The formula can still be balanced. You would just need to write all the values and then enter these values on a calculator to get the new % for the formula.
Thank so much for your generosity!!! I’m at the beginning for me this is Gold 🙏🏻 God Bless you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✨
Love the light you shed on others . Don’t stop 🤍🧿

Would the pouring technique work with smaller neck/opening bottles? Standard bottles is what I mean

Would it make that much difference to use BTMS 25 instead of 50? Thank you so much ❤
Thank you so much for the video! Where do you get your lotion containers from?
You're so welcome! I get them on Amazon! I have them linked in a few of my videos on Patreon 💕
@@blakeleeskincare Would it be possible for you to place the link in the comments? If not it's completely fine.
How do you get the colors to be so bright?

This great! Will you please up load the formula card on a pdf link? It is kind of hard to read once you do a screenshot. Thanks 😊
Thank you! Yes I plan to ❤️
Would appreciate that as well❤
Beautiful video thank you so much. Can you please tell me where you got your containers from?
Hi sorry for the late response! I got them from Amazon
Thank you
Hey ! Thank you so much ! Still have no idea where I can get good fragrances from 🤔 any idea? Any link ?
Hi! Thank you for this video! I did something similar to this and it came out great! But after a week or so the color turned to one gray color!!! Why did it do that??? I used water soluble dye. Please help!
Hey! The dye could definitely be the culprit. If not kept in a dark place I find that dyes will fade out

Hello, where did you get your colors from?
Where did you get the jars?
I got these on Amazon
Love this💙💛💗
Thank you ❤️
You didnt heat the water phase so is it okay not to heat it to the same temp as the oil phase
Yes it is, as long as the water is not cold. Sometimes heating the water can help it bind better but I don't always do this and I don't have any issues
Do you use any preservative
Yes gernall plus
Yes I saw the breakdown after thank you
Is the colouring mica or food colouring I been looking but I can’t find
@lifewithadri5151 this is a combination of liquid soap color and mica. Food coloring isn't suitable for Cosmetics
Nice
Thank you ❤️
I was planning on just buying creme and adding colorant. My only question is what colorant I should buy for this? Does someone have a link for this?
Mica ❤️ www.amazon.com/dp/B07YNW3GC2/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_apa_gl_i_PMPZA4VFS0DMZFABCSVE?linkCode=ml2&tag=jasmine042-20

Thanks! Amazon
The beeswax takes a high heat to boil down . Doesn’t the properties in Shea diminish once over 85 Fahrenheit
You can add in the Shea after the heat phase.

How many oz in this bottle?
About 10oz
How do I make a bigger batch for about 10 bottles at a time?
Hi! You would use the percentages given then plug into a batch size calculator. WSP has one

Do you have a link?
Yes I have a vendors list for the supplies for each formula I make on Patreon
Can you btms 25 or no? What can you substitute with
Yes for double the amount
Btms 50 nd btms25 has different ingredients...so substituting btms 50 for 25 nd using double the amount. The outcome won't be the same
Correct. They have different properties. As an emulsifier it will do its job but it doesn't condition the way that BTMS50 does. That goes for any emulsifier. It won't be an 100% match but at different percentage rates it will emulsify
With these ingredients, it does not equal to 100% using 5% fragrance oil, it’s more than 100%
