Love y’all’s video and the way you video in your kitchen (all natural) No editing, just real life❤. Love your T-Shirt. I too have cancer, oh and love that you talk about Church and God. ❤God Bless❤
A few years ago, you taught me to make biscuits (cast iron skillet). No one had ever been able to do that, even in-person teaching. I tuned in about a minute after you started this video. I love HOW you explain what you are doing and WHY. I need to visit more often! I look forward to making these tenders. Thank you so much for a free printout of the recipe. PS Like y'all, I don't like onions in my squash and would rather have desert than bread.
Just made them today and they were very good. They got really brown in 4 min, but at least they didn't taste burnt. Thank you for sharing. Hubby loved them too.
When cooking live, I actually prefer to see cooks in a natural environment, as we all cook, lol which is all over the place 🤣🤣🤣 I am all over the place when I cook, so to me you appear natural in your kitchen environment 😜 I love the recipe and dinner you made. I also enjoy the fact that your husband actually helps you. To me that is awesome 👍 Thank you for sharing this recipe and video with us ☺️ God Bless you 🙏
I 💙 buttermilk chicken 🐔 fingers!! My granny taught me how to season them and let them hang out in buttermilk until 30 minutes b4 cooking time! She makes them just like you do! It must be a southern style and I'm completely fine 🙂 with that! The chicken 🐔 fingers are full of flavor from the buttermilk and seasonings! My granny would make her cream potatoes 🥔 using milk, butter 🧈 and Duke's mayo 😋! So delicious 😋!! She would sometimes fry up okra or squash coated in flour/corn starch mixture & cut them round shape and they were so delicious. Lightly cooked n seasoned with salt and a pinch of blk pepper. So delicious 😋!! I know I keep saying delicious alot but it is 😆 I can't help it. Thank you for keeping it southern style homemade cooking 🍳! We love ur video's and ur recipes. We enjoy spending time with you and Mr. Chris! I hope you guys are having a great New Year 2023! Stay safe & be extra cautious with covid/strep A & the flu spreading around US again. I know i caught it in Oct around Halloween 🎃 and I missed Thanksgiving and Christmas due to being very sick. I couldn't shake it for two whole months. It was horrible. God bless 🙏!! See ya on your next video!
I just made these! It was the first time I’ve ever made them from scratch, and everyone loved them!! My little 4-year-old granddaughter said to tell you, “Those are good, Miss Tammy!” I followed your instructions to a T, and they turned out perfect! My older son said they were better than any he had ever had! Love all your recipes! It’s the kind of food I grew up eating and still do! Thanks again!
Tammy, I have made your chicken tenders so many times now, they are the absolutely best that I’ve ever had.My Grandson requested them for Christmas Dinner instead of turkey or ham.Love your channel.
Thank you for going over cutting up a chicken in this video. I keep trying to do it and really am having a hard time. In watching this I finely figured out I was trying to bend the chicken the wrong way. LOL We all learn something every day.
I just can't thank you enough for sharing all of your receipts with all of us. You are just amazing...LOVE your accent...your humor and EVERYONE OF YOUR STORIES.

Y’all are priceless🥰. Had to have a quick tutorial on chicken fingers for my lunchtime menu tomorrow ... love y’all prayers and good wishes on your upcoming move🙏💕
Just heard you mention the handle of a wooden spoon to test hot oil. My grandmother always did that and that's what I've always done. Love your channel
Thank you for that info about buttermilk and bone in chicken. I have never heard that before. I had to go back and rewatch a bunch of your fried chicken videos because I couldn’t remember which one you said that in and what you had said about it-my fried chicken has not turned out that great more times than I can count and now I think that may very well be why!
Thanks for sharing this awesome meal. Unlike the two of you, I'm one of those that will opt for the onions in the squash, and breads over dessert, but I think that's part of the beauty of cooking and baking. The options are endless. I so appreciate watching the two of you work together to accomplish something so wonderful, and your confidence in just being yourselves. That's a blessing. P. S. Your hair is gorgeous. Many blessings to you and yours.
wow Tammy you are a joy. Watching you is like I am in my kitchen. This Is Real were all over this kitchen. Thank you for the recipes and time to explain the WHY's, You and Chris are great....

Oh my goodness...I can't wait to make this!!! I do have both of your cookbooks and they are amazing!!! But...I must ask you...is my husband there filming this? LOL My husband is a good cook or his specialties, such as the best homemade BBQ Sauce, BBQ Brisket that just absolutely falls apart it's so tender and baby back ribs. He's pretty good at other things but the things I mentioned above...he is absolutely a master at. On other things....I beat him hands down but for some odd reason, he is constantly telling me how to do it. Why do men do that???? LOL I just about spit my teeth out when you got your dig in by saying that next time maybe he'll quit telling you how to do it. Priceless. LOL
I like your whisk spoon. I like using a wooden chop stick.not painted . I got you all in my play list. Lovely chicken. I love the darker chkn. But all looks great
Your tenders look great! I make mine same way,but did not know about cooking bone in with egg wash instead of buttermilk. As always great information. Thanks
I make large batches of the Ritz/ranch coating mix and store in freezer. It works GREAT for stuffed peppers and zucchini too. I brown gr beef add crumbs and salsa yummy
I put the dry ranch dressing mix in my dressing and potatoes chicken pork chop we eat it with bread stick to we love it like we do ranch dressing mix .
I'm not new to cooking. But am new to frying. I cleaned and seasoned my OLD frying pans that I got from my mother and her mother..I've fried chicken tenders from Brenda Gantt's recipe.very good,!. Just found yours and really want to make yours too QUESTION. Do I throw out the oil after each frying? Start next frying recipe with new fresh oil? That's really expensive. Cant remember what my mother did. (I'm almost 74!) I've heard of 'cleaning,' oil. How would one go about doing that. How would you store the oil? How many times can oil be used,? We've had a very warm winter in Virginia. Getting spring fever and thinking about summer veggies. Your chicken tenders, fresh sliced tomatoes and just picked corn on the cob. YUM!
Hi tammy and family I love your cooking Just a good old townhome cook I don't mean jus a cook i mean a real cook i my opinion Love you guys with the love of the LORD JESUS CHRIST
To test oil, you can use a toothpick or wooden spoon. If you see tiny bubbles, your oil is ready to go. Wooden spoons/utensils hold water when we wash them and that's what creates the bubbles. 👍
Wow, just yesterday was thinking " need a homemade Chicken tenders recipe!" Then today, low and behold...I have one. Love you guys...always such fun to be welcomed into your kitchen.

To test oil, you can use a toothpick or wooden spoon. If you see tiny bubbles, your oil is ready to go. Wooden spoons/utensils hold water when we wash them and that's what creates the bubbles. 👍
Looks delicious 😋
Tammy, I use that same flour mixture and add onion and garlic powder. It does make a batter for the chicken

Hello from Colorado 😊
Made this recipe. It was absolutely delicious!
Great to hear!
My 9 year old daughter, Keana, made this recipe from the cookbook last summer and we love them. Of course I helped, but she done most of it. And she loves the pigtail meat hook! Lol. She is a fan! We love your show and learn SO much.
That is awesome! Way to go Keana!!
Question: how long should the cook in an air fryer? Looked so good can’t wait to make them.
Most of the airfryers have a chicken setting I would use that or do 380 for about 8 to 10 min then check
Used your suggestion and tried self rising flour instead of regular. Chicken turned out nice and crisp! Thank you, Tammy!
Wonderful!
