Naivety is often a contributing factor to wars. Naivety is when you accept what an evil person is saying to you just because you would like to believe them. War is evil but inevitable given that we have evil people in this world. It was right that the UK stood up to Hitler. It was wrong that the UK invaded Suez in 1956 just to protect oil supply. It is wrong that so many countries such as the US and Russia start wars just because they don’t like the politics of countries that they deem are too close to them.

The 101st Airborne Division was the first allied unit to occupy Hitler's Eagle Nest ? Who said that ? Until now it's still unclear who really arrived first. The 101st claims they were the first here, the 3rd US infantry division says the same, and so does the French 2nd armored division... but it seems the very first allied soldiers here were the French. They took pics and some Hitler's belongings before leaving the place upon American order. But with Hollywood, that's always the same, US first and biggest even if it's not true...

In the 101st defense, the previous troops were there very briefly and left everything virtually untouched, so when the 101st arrived it appeared to them they had arrived first.
