The guitarist is called Romain, he is French and played in the band the big push with ren. They also used to share a flat for a couple of years. The big push used to do busking on the streets of Brighton.
Enjoy the ride, the money game songs are so powerful and filled with strong messages. Part 1 and 2 are very similar part 3 is kind of it's own thing but probably the best one of them all. Looking forward to your reaction on the rest.
Fantastic reaction guys! I think Ren's talents beyond musicianship are one reason why he's so captivating. Authenticity is mentioned a lot these days but as you said, it is clearly so with Ren. I also like how he is asking us to think about our own role in the 'money game' and not just pointing the finger of blame which is the easy option. Looking forward to joining you for Part2 and 3. As others will tell you, please do the official Lyric version of part 2!!! The live version is great but incomplete - save that for after the Lyric version.
This is a onetake video and the guy on the chair is Romain an great artist as well. he is as well a member from the band big push like Ren. If you have not reacted on The Big Push - i shot the sheriff/road to zion/hip hop video, this is a must have for any Ren fan. He is here the lead singer and Romain plays the short solo e-guitare part. But all of the members from the big push are awsome.
Great reaction, if you are doing part 2 do the lyric video as it has more in it rather than the live version…. Never thought I’d hear myself say that with ren😂, much love from 🇬🇧
Great reaction yall.....couple things I'd like to bring up, im really glad u started here, as ull see the "Money Game" series are dripping with symbolism(as the viewer interprets for themselves)and is swaddled in a prolific message, when u do the second part, do the lyrics video, and when u watch part 3 remember all the subtleties from this particular one....enjoy
Part 2 is the lyric video that is the one with music background and the complete lyrics...there is also an "official part 2" acapella video/poetry slam video which was released earlier with no music background but that just consists out of the last verse of the lyrics of the part 2 lyric video...just that you know. By the way "the hostage/the money game" playing guitar is "Romain" from "The Big Push" which is the busking band/street band Ren is part of.
I agree with the request for MG2 lyrics video vs the live one. Listen to the live one second - as is usual, it's completely different. The full version is on the lyrics video. :)
Great to see a real personal growth in your reactions, saw you first like many months ago and came back now. Being more vivid and real. Just being more yourself. Great!
With drawing the eyes and kicking the guy in the chair, my interpretation is that by telling the guitar player about how twisted into society the money game is, he opened his eyes and now he can see... but sometimes the truth can feel like a kick in the gut.
Having watched this "A few" times... I think the Smock is his protection from the "rain" . He's draws the eyes on the figure representing the "blind" general population allowing him ("them") to see the situation. (That's a money bag on his head btw) The symbolism of the last part? You'll have to ask Ren!
Listen to the comments saying youbshould to the lyric video for part 2, the live isn't the full thing and in my opinion it sucks. I don't mean to be disrespectful to him, it's just that every other one he has done is incredible but live part 2 is underwhelming to say the least.

Ren's album Sick Boi went straight in at #1 in the UK chart today.

Thank you for starting with Part 1. The guitar player is Romain, a buddy of Ren's.

Part 2 Lyric video important
When you do MG2 you need the “lyric” video as that’s the only one with the full song (other versions only have part of the song)! ❤

thank you for continuing to react and support my favourite artist ever sending big love from the UK ❤❤❤
If you've ever seen The Big Push (if not you should), the person on guitar is Romain, one of his bandmates.

Love that you went back to pt 1 before doing 3
Re the "acting"
He has impeccable timing.
Just make sure for Money Game Pt. 2 you watch the ‘official lyric video’. The live version is not the same song.
Wait for part 3 for the eyes!!! 😉
The Guitarist is Romain, his then house share mate.
This is a one shot video it took them 6 days and 183 takes to get it right from start to finish in one shot.
lyric video for part 2
