Great tips! Mine would do well for the first 6 months and then take a nose dive... my guess is the slow release fertiziler that the plants came with was done and I wasn't replenishing nutrients.
I tried one in stratum that was down to the corm, it did ok for a couple months but never really took off. I'll need to try layering it on, I don't want to waste what I have.
Very helpful video! Do you have any tips for Money Trees? (Mine is very floppy)
Oof tree are difficult indoors. The older the tree the more light it needs and the easier it is to care for because it handles being neglected better. Younger trees it seems to be a lighting and watering issue generally. To little water they wilt and to much water they rot and wilt because of it. Without seeing it I would suggest as much light as possible unless it burns. And to check the roots for rot. If the soil is compacted and dry it might just need a good soak overnight to rehydrate.
If it's a baby one(2 or 3 in pot size) and the roots seem good and the watering is good you can try a higher humidity(can put in a small clear plastic box for a quick mini greenhouse effect) and give it light.
@@thatawkwardplantgirl ok thank you very much! I will try putting it in a room with more light and I'll check the roots. thank you!
