This setup looks so clean and cosy. So many setups are in windowless rooms, with glaring LEDs, signs, crammed arcade cabs, and console standees, I think it's so important to have a game room just be another beautifully furnished room in the house. Honestly, this setup is one of the best I've seen on YT.

I always have my games alphabetized! They aren't in this video because I had just moved in when I made this video.

A super clean gaming space. Even though you have a vast collection it doesn’t look too cluttered and is very well curated. I like how relaxing the room looks. Some rooms can look a little overwhelming, but yours looks very cozy.

One of the best setups I’ve seen!! I swear some people build their game rooms to impress others instead of making it a beautiful lil accessory in the house. I like how open & tidy it is, I went for a similar style with mine. It’s gotta be accessible & approachable! Museum style collections I really only like in video format. Your room looks easy to enjoy and pleasant to walk by!! Nailed it!!
P.S. definitely keep collecting for OG Xbox & PS2! Very affordable these days. Even CIB PS2 games range from $15-$30 and OG Xbox is even cheaper. Lots of personality & charm to be had for cheap!

I believe white IKEA shelvings are the perfect things to have in a game room.
I watch a ton of game room tours. It’s never really about the games or systems for me. It’s about the layout, shelvings, aesthetics, cleanliness, kiosks and cool merch. I watch what I can to subconsciously store ideas in my head for that one day where I can have a dedicated game room.

The room looks very clean and inviting. I'd go through the sections for hours
Highlights for me:
PS2: .hack// games (I regret my decision to sell them 12 years ago ._. )
PSP: Tactics Ogre - Let Us Cling Together (I played it back then and now the remake on PC ^^ )
GBA: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (Made me fall in love with this kind of strategy games. )
N64: Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon (Easily Top 5 if not Top 3 of the N64-library)
PS3: Resonance of Fate (Holy moly! Hot candidate for "most difficult to learn"-combat system ever, but a fantastic game)
And last but not least: The Game Boys with backlit feature. I would have loved those as a kid. So crisp! 🤩

This is so nice!! i wish i had the room to furnish my game room a bit more, i can just squeeze a couch in there to sit on and the rest is just games and a TV stand.. and a PS2 kiosk.. but priorities i guess, lol.
As a little tip, i also have those ikea shelves that are kind of too deep for most game cases, if you have some dvd cases you don't use you can lay down 4 of them behind the row of games and it'll make them all uniform with eachother and the front of the shelf as well! works really well with both CD and DVD sized cases. You can then also leave 1 out to create a bit more room for longer or deeper cases if need be.
This is so funny to watch, we have basically the exact same furniture, but i really like how clean it looks on your end, mine kind of started out like this but as my collection grew and my house.. well didn't, it looks similar but 1000x more chaotic cause there's stuff eveywhere, which i can't really hide cuz i don't have the space for it, but also love how it looks on display, i've embraced the chaos at this point it seems, i've wanted to get one of those glass cabinets too to put some stuff in, but at this point i don't know where i'd put it.. lol
ah thats a good idea! I didnt think to use empty game cases to line up the games!
every year or so I do a deep clean and try to reorganize to maximize the space, but it's always a struggle!

Those are just some random LED strip lights with a remote from Amazon! I think they were about $15-20

Wow how can that ikea kallax hold your crt tv? I think maximum load of weight for the kallax is 25 kg (80lbs)

Very nice game room you've got there! Refreshing to see I'm not the only nerd with a game room that's also into Gundams! Though I have yet to go down the Gunpla rabbit hole, I just have my Gundam Universe collection and all of my Gundam Wing and Mobile Suit Gundam Bandai figures from the 90's and early 2000's.
Your collection has a lot of substance to it, and not a lot of filler and your setup overall is very clean and tidy. What model Trinitron is that you're running?

fuuuuu*k what a dream. my setup is coming along equally clean but your quantity of coolness is fantastic.
A really handy tip for the spacers behind the games, you can get foam tape, and you just stick it behind the games, it acts as a little lip to prevent it being pushed all the way back and its an easy way to maintain consistency too.
