- The long awaited arrival of the daily driven exotics Ferrari 550 is finally here although sadly there are some problems with the car starting off with the radiator fans not turning on some small issues here and there.

Guys this isn’t a big issue, I have been in touch with Dave and Mike. We’re going to by pass the fan controller because when the AC ECU was removed it also removed the trigger to the fan module and since the car wasn’t tested properly before leaving LA it didn’t get the proper shake down it needed. And as for DDE visiting manila, no schedule as of yet, they can’t come after Gumball so will announce when they give me a date.
thanks for confirming the facts Angie, a lot of people assume their own story in the comments. Its nice to hear that you still in touch with DDE regarding the 550 issues that you are currently dealing with. It is a custom modified ferrari, of course things will happened to it, unlike a perfect factory dealership example. it should be a quick fix, cant wait to see what you will do with the car. Im grateful to see the car lives on with another enthusiast. Hope to see DDE visit your place soon or you make a visit to their new HQ. cant wait for the videos!
Will be great to see the boys out in Manila, going by what they have said recently they are keen to do a lot more travelling in the second half of 24' and 25'. I'm sure you'll be high on their list of places to visit, they have always spoken very highly of you and mentioned on a number of occasions how good a driver you are. Keen to see you hit the track and streets of Manila with them 👊😎

the odds are high... they have no knowledge of cars, from what it seems they dont inspect the cars before buying them and they run them really hard -- considering they dont buy new... its really not a surprise more than half of their fleet of cars are currently undrivable. To be clear I dont hate them, they just have a habit of breaking everything they touch :)
@@sbross9863 It's because they modify and drive their cars like almost no one else and not like just park them plus that's why they have Mike Essa and Tim to fix their cars...

So a couple things, the car was completely working when Angie bought it, minus the A/c because they werent going to run a/c, then they had issues with the factory a/c trying to get it reinstalled, then moved to installing an aftermarket a/c, Angie didnt rush them but them were under a time crunch to get the a/c installed so it could make the boat for shipping, once they had the a/c working it was immediately shipped back to Canada for shipping, they didnt have time to do a full shake down, also with six weeks or more in a container can shake stuff apart on a heavily modified car, Angie knows this and Mike im sure will gladly help with phone and video calls

This was one of my favorite builds they did. Nice to see it get some camera time again and hopefully soon will be back in the road

really glad we get to see more of this car, its one of my favorites, and we didnt get to see a whole lot of it
- no rear view mirror because they change it to new windshield
- the speedometer works but the rpm do not work ( because if i can remember they took it to willow spring after they got the aero put on and mike did the tear down of whole interior maybe they break something or etc.)
- the termostat issue if you remember slush meet mike beat the shit out of the car maybe and damon ( you know damon when he uses his car after he uses he dosent let the car idle of a bit to cool down by it self )
-the exhaust its actually loud it makes muffled when mike did the center exit ( it feels like its muted)

B is for build channel,has done a couple of the Mustang builds of old body new chassis and running gear ,this was one that got taken for copyright issues
You may gain some info on the swapping issues of the Mustang

This was a gated car originally, they took a clean 550 and made this

If you look back at the original build videos after this car was built, the tachometer never worked. I watched every DDE video about this car wondering if I would ever see the tach work and it never did. Maybe something was not connected after they built this.

I just know the AC install was a giant pain in the a$$ from all the clips. Have Damon fly Mike Essa out to Manilla for a week. For content. Yeah. That's it

DDE.599 was having the same problem and the thermostat was bad and the wireing harness was the problem for the fans

What puzzles me is that the Tow Truck guy said it's overheating, which was not an issues when DDE sent it off & as far as I know the car can't overheat when being towed!!! I suspect that the Tow Co. was Drifting it before shipping it off!!
It didn't have an AC before it shipped to Canada also. It was never tested before it was shipped off sadly

Well the car had a dead battery when it arrived. It also had to get transported to August cars so it got passed around many times

DDE is having problems with there other one but think they got it fixed something melted on passenger side
Yup radiator hoses melted because of aftermarket headers

This is funny.... she knew she was buying an unfinished car, that had a few problems, she also pushed them to hurry up and get it to her. And when they had to move shops she said just send it to her and she will finish it all off....
I actually never rushed it, they said everything was working when it left so not sure what happened in between
not how the videos seemed and it was running properly in the video before it left and as said its modified roughly as old as the 599s which is old and a ferrari thing plus those were custom al13 forged wheels
It was hardly rushed, it took them months to reinstall the AC, car things happen, I’m sure it will be awesome.

Check your tune in America they have horrible fuel so they compensate in the tune if U put your fuel which is better than there's it could burn a hole in your piston or detonate and blow up so please go to a tuner
