Which is bad from a gameplay stand point too, it seems like stormtroopers are the same enemy as the unarmored officers with a different model. With dishonored as another example, overseer masks can block a bullet or crossbow bolt the first time they're hit. So you have to fight overseers a little differently than regular guards, giving some gameplay variety. If helmeted enemies couldn't be punched out and instead had a longer chocking animation that would make them functionally different and something the player would account for. It's a poor gameplay decision and a poor worldbuilding decision. It doesn't make the protagonist look strong but makes the enemies look weak. Which actually takes away from the whole power fantasy aspect of video games imo.
The impact and sound design are so piss poor it looks enemies falling on a banana peel. At least have her use a chokehold or a weapon to incapacitate someone.

Aphra is a better character and does everything Kay does but better and more. I don't understand why they made a Han Solo's cheap copy.

As for 'gunning down soldiers like it was nothing,' the only time that could possibly apply is Episode IV when they're on the Death Star and that cannot be because the Stormtroopers aren't trying to kill them. Vader and the Empire need them alive so they can find the rebel base which they later attack. As for Episodes V & VI, Luke is part of the rebels and, if I recall correctly, promoted to a captain. He had to have had training by that point. The only actual example for your argument would be from Episode IV when they're leaving Mos Eisley but even then we are already told that Luke and his friends (who at least one is already part of the rebels) go shooting rodents and while that _is_ different from actual combat, that is also providing a solid base for actually knowing how to use a blaster. I literally cannot think of a main 6 episodes pre-Disney character who goes into something woefully unprepared and still just so happens to come out on top with the exception of the three comedy characters C3PO, R2D2, and Jar Jar. And I mean pushing, not punching. She literally just grab someone’s head and push them onto the floor and they passed out. The only reason why I think she's able to easily do takedowns and how braindead the enemies's AI's are is because they're all paid actors and are already aware of her presence.
It's extremely well designed level wise like all ubisoft games guven they have such established design docs and piplines, so all the basic stuff is excellent (other than bugs) but they seem to have forgotten to add any actual gameplay hook or creative spark as there is NOTHING other than the cookie cutter ubisoft gameplay. Other ubisoft useslly have a unique layer on top of that tonally and gameplay wise but here there's literally no unique fantasy or gameplay. Tldr: the definition of mid
From the reviewers I trust: Positives: The level design is well done, the story is serviceable, and the lore is okay. Negatives: The facial animations are three steps backward from 2012 Assassin Creed games (the character's almost never blink, making their eyes pretty creepy), the AI is dumb, the bugs are numerous (requiring bug fixes from now till the end of the year and beyond), no weapon choices, and it's pretty short, even with side quests. Missed opportunities with the faction system, and they threw in some shameless nostalgia stuff to try to keep you invested. Wait for the sale if you're still interested. It'll be sooner, rather than later.
Upvoted because StealthGamerBR is goated and he did his best but this game does not look good. Unless I was a diehard fan of star wars desperate for an open world game like this, I wouldn't touch it. Dozens of open worlds do what this does but better.

How to defeat a bunch of enemies at the hardest difficulty in Star Wars Outlaws: 1. Get inside a room in the enemy base which has a door 2. First, 1 or two enemies get inside. Immediately melee attack the first enemy. 3 attacks are enough to knock him out. Do the same with second enemy 3. Repeat the process

Negatives:
The facial animations are three steps backward from 2012 Assassin Creed games (the character's almost never blink, making their eyes pretty creepy), the AI is dumb, the bugs are numerous (requiring bug fixes from now till the end of the year and beyond), no weapon choices, and it's pretty short, even with side quests. Missed opportunities with the faction system, and they threw in some shameless nostalgia stuff to try to keep you invested.
Wait for the sale if you're still interested. It'll be sooner, rather than later.

Upvoted because StealthGamerBR is goated and he did his best but this game does not look good. Unless I was a diehard fan of star wars desperate for an open world game like this, I wouldn't touch it. Dozens of open worlds do what this does but better.

At the first 1 minute into the video, I could've tell that this game is made by Ubisoft even without knowing this game even exist in the first place. That proves how terrible Ubisoft has become with their "Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V" strategy.

How to defeat a bunch of enemies at the hardest difficulty in Star Wars Outlaws:
1. Get inside a room in the enemy base which has a door
2. First, 1 or two enemies get inside. Immediately melee attack the first enemy. 3 attacks are enough to knock him out. Do the same with second enemy
3. Repeat the process
say whatever you want, this game maybe is not as good as other actual works but at least it didn't came out half made like Cyberpunk
