I brought myself 4 sewing machines. An over locker. A cover stitch machine. A quilting machine/sewing and an embroidery machine. Because of your articulate description i was able to make my first pair of overalls. They turned out ok. Not as perfect as yours. But in time im pretty sure ill be able to sew a better pair soon. Thank you so much. Ive never sewed anything in my entire life.
Thank you very, very much! I followed your guide, slightly altered in some parts and now I can make my own overalls with hard denim to work on the farm! Since I'm a beginner, it took me 4 days to finish, but I now have the shapes cut out and all I need is to trace them to make new ones! A shoutout from Brazil!
i’m currently in the process of following this tutorial (except i’m using corduroy) and it’s going......a lot better than it would be going without the tutorial lolll. you literally BLEW my mind with the way you attached the pant legs to eachother, it’s so smart!!! i’m really excited about theseeeee i hope they come out as great as yours!
@@emmaraven1117 heyy they turned out alright!! the pants are a little bit too short for me, but otherwise they fit well!! it’s really a wonderful tutorial
@@fernanda5g the problem with corduroy is that it looks a little different depending on the way the fabric is facing, so you have to be mindful of that when you’re cutting it. it worked pretty well but in some parts, the fabric got really thick and i ended up breaking like 3 needles :/ but overall i would recommend, i hope it goes/went well for you!!
I binged watched almost all of your video today and now you're relising this one! 😎📹 It's so cute ❤️ i love your style i want the same wardrobe 😍 Also you improve so much in editing👌🌿
Sooo I just got a new sewing machine (I used to sew and it’s been YEARS sense the last time I have) but I decided to start sewing again and I am SO happy I found your channel. I’m going to be trying out all of your tutorials! I have the brother XR 3340
this is such a clear and helpful video, thank you! i've been wanting to sew myself some overalls for ages and this tutorial makes it seem much more doable! love your videos 💕
Hey I really wanna learn how to make dresses and u inspire me dear.. I tried to make one but it was a disaster!! Can u plz create a web series on making dresses for beginners it will help me a lot and others too who wanna learn. Love from India
hi ♡ I really want to make these overalls but I don't know how to adapt my measurements to your pattern :( do you have the pattern in different sizes? ♡ thank you ♡ you are amazing
Hey, thank you very much! I’m discovering my love for sewing, and because these tipe of overalls in my size are so hard to find in Argentina I’m finally doing something about it ❤ agains thanks!
i love your videos! i’m a little new to sewing but i want to start making some of my own things, what do you think is the best to start with for beginners? my style is similar to yours!☺️
You are very lovely and talented! I want to try these. Also we can play a drinking game with everytime you say "so" in your videos. Hehe. I do the same thing when I am nervous:)
How do you determine the sizes, + leg width? I can sew sails But clothes is all new to me! Nicely done . I know that mine will be baggier + not have a belt. 😂
Really nice video - great looking overalls (and cute earrings too)! The belt adds a lot of styling. Just curious to know if the denim had some spandex in it or was it completely non-stretch? When you ripped it to get the fabric grain lined up, I wondered if you could do that if it had spandex in it.
I always make things too big also, and part of that is because I see myself as bigger. (Lifelong issues). Some may think it’s wasteful, but rarely in 40+ years have I had something turn out too small.
Wouldnt it cost less and be far less work just to order your own? Can someone motivate me to learn to sew? Its so expensive... lots of work... and most of it will end up worse than what I can buy
When you learn to sew, it will slowly get more quality than what you can buy. Find fabric in thrift stores (bed sheets and table cloths are good starters), so you don't spend so much on fabric that you regret it later. The time you invest in it will pay off when you want to give gifts to people around you or make something you can't find in a store. And you can have things fit yourself perfectly, and add your own little touches to it that will make it look original.
Start by something simple you'd actually use!!! I started by sewing 3 diferent tote bags to get started and perfect my basic stitches, each tote bag was a slightly different style and I still use them!! Also it depends a lot in what you actually sew, I sew lolita pieces and found that the fabric I use is quite cheap. For me 1 meter of fabric is about 20-30 pesos which I believe is about 1- 1.5 dollars, lace costs way more but I do it mainly as a hobby and greatly enjoy being able to customize my stuff and make it fit my personal style!
I literally refuse to believe that u sewed that, this girl is a G at sewing :)

You sew like you've been doing it for 50 years. So polished.

I was thinking of doing mine with corduroy too!! Did you have any trouble with the stitching? Like, was it too thick or was it fine?

HELL YES, OH IVE BEEN WAITIN FOR THIS ONE MAN
This video is awesome! Thanks a lot!
hey, i love your work! a question, how did you cut the back part of the pants? (sorry for my english) :)
Do you have a in depth tutorial on how you got your measurements? I’m very short and curvy and I’m not sure how to adjust your provided measurements 😅
i love your videos! i’m a little new to sewing but i want to start making some of my own things, what do you think is the best to start with for beginners? my style is similar to yours!☺️
thank you so much! My best videos for beginners are probably my tiered ruffle skirt, shirred crop top, and my midi skirt!
This is magic ❤️🧡💛💚💙
Just for my sewing reference 😊Button Placet 4:20 - 6:00
Hi would you be a poke to link the fabric also is it 45” or 60” inches wide
Love the video but I have a couple questions how do I redo the length size because all the measurements fit but I’m 5’1
You are very lovely and talented! I want to try these. Also we can play a drinking game with everytime you say "so" in your videos. Hehe. I do the same thing when I am nervous:)
Thanks so much! Lololol I knowww I’m working on it😂
How long did it take for you to make the overalls?
How do you determine the sizes, + leg width?
I can sew sails
But clothes is all new to me!
Nicely done .
I know that mine will be baggier + not have a belt. 😂
Use clothes you already have to determine the pattern size (there are tutorials on yt that show how to make patterns from clothes you already have).
Would their be a pattern we could buy? (I love your Videos
Really nice video - great looking overalls (and cute earrings too)! The belt adds a lot of styling. Just curious to know if the denim had some spandex in it or was it completely non-stretch? When you ripped it to get the fabric grain lined up, I wondered if you could do that if it had spandex in it.
thank you so much! that's so kind! my denim was non stretch!✨
Ooh could u do a perfect fit trouser/pants tutorial pwetty pleeeaze🥺🥺🥰
Can you show making holiday jumpsuit
Do the measurements transfer over even if we're a very different size?
Can you make a hoodie next
I’ll add that to my list!☺️
Awesome 👏 💪❤️

I have a bundle of used clothes I want to see into overall can we do a video like that next
Does the measurement of the pieces include seam allowance? :0
Did you made the pattern or you used a commercial one?
