Surprised there was no mention of the Tech overlap between Fo/Te/Bo. Not important but having an extra 6 SP on your main if you also use any of those as sub is a nice little bonus 😊
This is one of the things about this game that I genuinely love. The mixing and matching for classes. Personally, I used to run Bo(sb)/Fi, but these days I'm Sl/Fi. Not the tankiest by any means, but I do love the synergy. Am thinking about opting for Bo(sb)/Sl now though, cuz I haven't done testing yet, though I reckon the results might be pretty fun. If anyone has tested this combo do let me know! I haven't gotten my Bo to 80 yet, stuck at 70 since I switched to Slayer on release (and never switched back)
I know its not much but I'm surprised that you didn't mention that Gunners Dodge PP Gain is available as Sublass now. admittedly it only applies to Sidesteps and TMG WA, but even still that made my Bo/Gu able to really keep on the pressure on bosses that I learned how to evade.
I did NOT know that about Waker! I'm glad I watched this video. I moved Keiko (the bunnygirl that was in one of your videos a while back) from Force because I heard it did the worst damage in the game to Braver, and while I was planning to have her keep Force as a subclass, I'll definitely want to switch that out for Waker when I need it because I'm old and bad at parrying lol
yeah as a waker main, it's ridiculous how much leeway the class gives me to be sloppy. i could spam FO pp conversion with reckless abandon and still survive just by passives alone.
my second main class is fighter/braver. braver best sub-class with it as a sub-class you can still run it as main because brave combat isn’t lock behind main class restrictions like other class skill
I believe that Ranger sub has become more valuable recently, and it's due to the skill Stealth Strike. Most of the long-range/tech classes got a new skill (called Long Range Advantage on JP, not sure about Global) that increases PA/tech damage by 15% when you attack a boss enemy that isn't targeting you. It doesn't matter much when soloing, but in multiplayer quests having the skill active makes a huge difference. If you're playing a long-range/tech class and you happen to be one of the highest DPS in the group, having Stealth Strike can make it a lot easier to maintain Long Range Advantage.
Something you should have mentioned is using subjobs for the purpose of multi weapons. Personally when I use force or techter I use bouncer as a subjob so I can use jet intensity on downed bosses. Another useful multi weapon is having your subjob be waker multi weaponing a harmonizer and using it to mark bosses for the extra down and potency.
Unless ur running vershmel wouldn't slayer be the highest increase in dmg especially against bosses since u get 5 cr at all times vs fighter bouncer which are conditional
Hunter sub also is useful for using sword for a big pre fire hit during bosses that aren’t targetable for a few seconds. Then swap back to your regular class weapon after every prefire
it all depends on your playstyle tbh you look for more dmg : slayer, bouncer, fighter survivability :hunter , waker trouble with pp; force maybe even gunner ranger, techter and braver are a no no for me as a subclass at least
I like getting as much PP as possible so I've been sticking with Force. Might switch to Waker though since I only just recently learned how Rifle's weapon action actually works xD
Is slayer a good subclass for braver? I have Flug Katana w Fixa Terimina 3 and am wondering how I would achieve the most dps. Sometimes I feel like the extra crit chance is more useful than bouncer/fighter sub on bosses, but I’m not too sure.
Waker has always been my sub since release. As a braver main i can mitigate sum of that healing nerf. But no matter what class i play as. Waker tends to be my sub.
Recently switched to Bouncer SB from Braver Katana, should I use force as subclass to forget about pp management? that active skill for pp regen is sweet
@randomf2pplayah768 I'm almost doing everything. PSE, Leciel, DQ and LTQs if there's one. I'm currently learning Solus tho. Should I just stick with force for everything?
@@LuxDivina__You can always swap I guess through loadouts? I'm lazy so I don't really switch my sub even at urgents/leciel. If you aren't doing pse bursts I'd say go for slayer/fighter subclass for more dps. most dark falls solus run i do, people don't break the back and keep damaging him, so we don't break both arms all the times. i attack the back alone and have managed to break it some times, but, because of that, bouncer is useless to me. but on aegis it might be good
You don’t need to break the back to break both arms. Just break the 3 eggs, arm opens, break it, attack hands then move to the eggs when they appear, break them all then break 2nd arm. There’s no need to even touch Solus’ back.
@@clarissejunqueira1994 the eggs do count as a break. We manage to skip straight to the last egg phase after breaking eggs on the pillars following both arm breaks. Obviously this is for the 8 man UQ. However, we still don’t break the back for 4 man as there is no need.
All those who have no confidence in their abilities use Hunter/braver/waker as a sub to feel safer. All those who believe in their skills go into the offensive sub-classes. Of course, synergy is also available for some classes. Gunner takes Ranger on principle, because the harmony is there and the Ranger rounds off the Gunner. Same for bouncer and force/stechter which work perfectly together.
