The chicken in the patty on the Chicken Big Mac is the same type as used in the McNuggets..which are bland anyway. So basically it is a McNugget patty. Also chicken is a bland food anyway that needs spices to make it better. They should have used the same spices they have on the McCrispy.
Sadly I've noticed a downward trend in quality and flavor of most fast food over the past few years, not to say there aren't some good things, but fast-food is seemingly getting worse while getting more expensive.
As long as people keep paying for it, they’ll lower quality and / or increase price. This is how pricing has worked for centuries and I don’t understand people being baffled by it (not you, but plenty of people over these past years) If something sells, you’re UNDERpricing it. The only way to stop this is to not buy it

And there's me, thinking "who the hell is Milton", then I remembered that thing going on in the east. A pity, but I guess I don't think of lands so far away very often. It's sort of like thinking about famine in the Sudan or such things.
The chicken patties are basically oversized chicken nuggets, same texture and breading. I came to same conclusion that you had when I tried it. Would of been probably been better if they used the chicken patties they use on McChicken or McCrispy.
Yeah, I kinda figured it was due to cost or sourcing reasons, since they figured the demand would be high. It seems people, myself included, have come to a pretty unanimous conclusion on this one.

95% of all the food at Mc D's tastes the same so if the ice cream machine actually works you can at least end with a potentially better expereince.. well that is until .... well you know... the later on revenge. But that said I feel the last thing they needed to do was ruin the Big Mac by substituting the skimpy "feef" patties with even more tasteless "ficken".
They should have just had Mayo instead of the Big Mac sauce which is meant for a beef Patty because chicken is more of a lighter delegate flavor and the mac sauce just overwhelmed the whole shebang jmo
He had bad dental work done a year or two ago and it makes it difficult to bite and chew. That dentist almost ruined his career. Look at videos before the pandemic. He takes full bites. Now, he will sometimes edit it out.
My biggest problem with the Chicken Big Mac was that, while Big Mac sauce complements a burger patty, it just overpowers the chicken. The sandwich just tastes like you're eating big mac sauce on a bun.

I found the biggest problem is the Big Mc sauce just does not work with the chicken. It's a strong flavour sauce and dominates the entire thing. The chicken does not have the flavour to combat this. I'm glad you came to the same conclusion. They could simply of used or created a totally different but lighter flavour sauce which would of worked better with the chicken.

McDonald's obviously wanted to create a "new" product to market up and hype up without developing something new. Hence why they used ingredients that already have been on the menu for some time.

I can't believe they fumbled this, but then again, this is the same company that can't figure out its food and cost is exactly why they're losing major amounts of customers (NOT profits, just customers).
I'm not gonna lie, this is one of his reviews that I completely disagree with. Maybe it's just the lack of quality from the McDonald's he ordered it from, but when I got this it just tasted like a huge McNugget on a Big Mac bun. Pretty good imo. Pretty harsh review but also I guess that that's his schtick.

A co-worker enjoyed his, and is going to have more. He’s a real world, working guy and we agree on too much, that I got to go with him. Would I like to buy and eat one? The secret sauce is Thousand Island dressing. In India it’s bigger and it tastes good there and in Japan. Everywhere else in the world that serves the Chicken Big Mac tastes better than the American version. “Wow!”
I was just telling my fiancée since we had it before a pub crawl, the patty is essentially a chicken nugget in patty form. If you look at the breading of the patty, it's the nugget breading. It is not the McChicken patty which we thought it was. We too would prefer the actual Big Mac.

I was just telling my fiancée since we had it before a pub crawl, the patty is essentially a chicken nugget in patty form. If you look at the breading of the patty, it's the nugget breading. It is not the McChicken patty which we thought it was. We too would prefer the actual Big Mac.
