Can you guys start a series of these kinds of videos? Like eating extreme food reaction videos - spicy foods, strange foods, roulette type challenges where you're forced to eat whatever you're given. I think they'd be super entertaining
🤣 It's funny that you bring out bitter melon as the last item. My parents use to cook that all the time when I was a kid. I still hate it till this day and ppl don't believe me when I tell them I was tortured as a child. I said go try eating bitter melon. They would literally cook that as the only dish to eat for dinner. 😵💫 I'd have to eat bitter sauce and rice to survive those days. Now, when I see Uncle Roger say "Why so Weak?" for his bit, I completely agree... Non-Asian ppl be weak bc their kids complaining about eating broccoli and I'm like try biter melon... everything taste good after that. FYI, you scrap out he white center out and you either salt rub or par boil it, to remove some of the bitterness before cooking, along with adding a bit of sugar to cut the bitterness -that's why the cooked dish isn't as strong. So you know the saying "Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner?" My 5 yr old nephew has been going around saying "Loser, Loser Bitter Melon Dinner." 🤣
I love how y'all just blew the taste buds off with every item, especially the ones in legit raw form! Both the cocoa bar and bittermelon are better paired, balanced with sweet/savory/spicy. Fun fact: the grandmas used to *scare* us into eating bittermelon; that if we didn't the girls' future spouses would have a wrinkly gourd. And if you were a boy, your gourd would end up like that too. Fast forward to all fam events/meals - we finish the dish without hesitation 😂
