You are proficient at working, remodeling, repairing, gardening and mechanics and I believe you are also owner of a local bar/restaurant. No wonder you are available to help your friends in so many of their lives. You are a blessing and hopefully recognize your value as the special person you are with such willingness to share with those you love and trust.
Certainly a master Mechanic with amazing perseverance and patience. Billy is so blessed to have such a friend as you Phil to be repairing his range Rover. Great to watch your vlogs, thank you, keep up the good work Phil👏👏👏💝🇦🇺
You have an amazing knowledge of car parts and how they function, Phil! You also have a talent for making this restoration process so interesting. Looking forward to the next video!
My '74 RR Classic V8 petrol leaked so badly it wasn't about the amount kilometers you could drive before a top up anymore, it was about the number of weeks before a oil refill. At 1 liter every 2 weeks I had it fixed and is was the crankshaft bearing indeed. Keep up the good work! Really like your videos.
You’ve done it again Phil. I learned from you again and I love learning. You are an A1 mechanic. I do admire your expertise as it’s phenomenal. Thank you. May you please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Gee Phil, seems like it would be a whole lot easier to remove the grille badge, scrap the clapped out rust bucket, drive in a better vehicle and reinstall the badge! LOL. 😂
Very interesting what’s needed to be fixed with Billy’s Range Rover. Talk about a major operation. Thanks Phil I really enjoy your explanations on it all. 👍
blimey phil in the olden days one just put a typre pressure gauge on the tyre to check the pressure ,.add air n bobs yer uncle / now these pressure sensors for tyres are all very well but a pain when they go off as in the light comes on . give me a bog standard car with out too many bells n whistles any day
Good for you getting a scsn tool help repair/fix issues b4 they make life crazy. Now if the oil leak killed the engine see if you can a get replacement or take it out & rebuild it. May take a while but pace self lil bit at a time you will get there. Well Done!
I don't know anything about cars yet you have a way of making it so you want to learn. I don't even drive and never will. I love classic cars nonetheless and favourite car is the Hackney cab oddly enough. I think you will succeed in making this car run like a purring kitten in the end what dedication :) give Lightning a hug from us :)
WOW Phil you are truly a genius Auto Mechanic/Fabricator 🏆🏅♥🚗🚙🏍⛽Just know that I am sending love and prayers your way each day from Eden,North Carolina usa. YOU GOT THIS PHIL💪💌
There is a method for resetting the TPM by turning on the electrical without actually starting the vehicle. Pump the accelerator slowly 3 times, turn off the the electrics . Wait 30 seconds then restart. It may take a 1-3 tries to work. And no I am not taking the piss
My dad was a mechanic and you are right our own cars got neglected while he fixed everyone else's. I have even know him to go off to work in a faulty car and come home in a different one after trading in the faulty one lol 😊
Phil - the TPMS comes on, fraudulently, every time there is a great shift in outdoor temperature. Usually, when the temperature dives below freezing here in the winter, I can expect it to come on. Once it warms up, the light goes off.
My sister was a hairdresser and she never had time to do her own hair or get someone to cut it the way she wanted. I think maybe all professionals have the same problem making time for themselves.
You probably want to watch the chateau channel if that’s what you are after; this is the car channel so not likely to see DIY or planting flowers anytime soon
@@philscarchronicles I realized after I had sent the post, oops, wrong channel.Of course I still watched the car stuff. I became a dedicated fan when I saw what you were doing for the refugees from another stupid war. I have two grandsons in the Air Force , one is now deployed to Poland. I respect men of honor, so I will be watching all of your videos.❤️❤️❤️❤️
My grandfather still drives his 1994 Ford Ranger. He doesn't drive it much. Last I heard it had 160,000 miles on still OEM components. He calls it his KISS-Truck. It was from him that I learned what K.I.S.S. means. ha. Best of luck with your projects. 👍👍👍
Phil, I drive a Honda Odyssey 2017 and when my tire pressure changes do to weather. I must drive the car with speeds of 50mph before the car computer sees it after putting the correct air pressure into the tire. Perhaps yours is the same
Super Modern cars 🤦♀️ you either love them or hate them … They are becoming to smart for their own good 😕 Give me a 2005 or older any day over this experience version of transportation … Glad your winning on your own wheels… ❤
G'day Phil, Nice tosee this ole girl comin together. Geez, no grindin without glasses bloke. While you got that Snap on thingy out, loose the key alarm on the ignition on my Nissan X Trail and loose the seatbelt alarm please? Thanks for doing these vids m8. Stay vertical Eh! Say G'day to the Kool bloke Lightning Eh!
@@philscarchroniclesMy 2012 Cadillac SRX has had a tire sensor broken for 7 years now. The part was $284.00; but the fee for the mechanic was over double that. So, I have driven with the dash tire pressure light on for 7 years now.
I hate TPMS, I worked at a service center. I don't know how much time I wasted trying to program those things. Duct tape doesn't work on oil leaks. Bummer.
Phil is one heck of a mechanic and seems to be infinitely patient.
Hey! Let’s face it-Phil can fix anything! I just watched him open doors that hadn’t been opened in 50 years!

That Land Rover hope you get it all done at some point. 😊👍
You can fix it Phil. You have come a long ways towards getting it done and restored so I know that you can do this too. Have a great day
Ooo boy! Imagine yanking the engine how good your access to the panels would be.
Be safe and careful.😊👍🙏
And a master at other trades.😊

just wondering how many air horns has that thing has .. you are a brave man .. its too far gone for me .. keep up the great work ..
Being limited to 1 of 200 changes the reason for rebuild a bit.
I can see there is an oil leak somewhere.👍
That Range Rover is one thing after another - it’ll keep you busy for quite a while I’m guessing

Is there anything this man can't do???
It never ends. With this car
Stupid computers! Just spend a couple of bucks on a manual tire pressure gage and check them yourself.
You have to fix the problem or the dash never clears the fault triangle!
@@philscarchronicles I know, but it just emphasizes the overcomplexity of modern cars. Too many computers and electronics!

Hi Phil, just wondering if your pal Billy knows the tremendous amount of time and work you are putting into this forest wreck?
I am sure he does!
you'd think using your eyes and a gauge were unheard of.
I hate my tire pressure sensors, and it's almost always the spare...go figure
Please come to fix my jeep..it just needs about 3 days with someone who cares💞 promise its not as bad as that range rover
Bit far to travel and no tools haha
@@philscarchronicles I will get you tools..think of it as a paycation 🥰
Note to Billy: should have left it in the Forest.
A puzzle with 90% of the pieces missing
It's not a Range Rover.... it's a sieve! It's progress tho'... cause if you don't know what to fix, it'll come back to mess with ya' later...
😮😮😮😮😮🎉
Hope you are well paid for this, Phil.
