Great minds think alike bro. My every day in my truck is a six foot ugly bait cast with fluger 10lb flouro and small swim bait or lizard tail worm. Great little rigs mines more budget but the fish don't know 😂😂

I went up there for the first time today and did alright. I caught five fish including a 3 pound smallmouth.

Bro!! I did this. Got that dumb combo to learn, kept the rod and replaced the weak reel with a silvermax

Why so light of a leader? I just down-size from the main-line braid by a factor of 1 or so.... 15 lb braid to a 12 lb fluorocarbon leader is pretty standard in my book (?)
The water im fishing is so clear and shallow That really light line helps Tremendously
The floating bag thing is genius - I'm not an experienced wade fisherman and that's the first I've seen of that - absolutely genius
