    Nice videos keep it up!
    I wonder in this video, You used p500 then p800, p3000, polishing compound. Spray coat.
    I wonder if could use the plasticX as the compound before coating?
    And in the spraycoat package from meguiars includes a cleaner solution, in what step should be proper to use it because i see the pads that follow are quite abrasive. Or do you think that with your method there are no use of the cleaner solution because the oxidation are anyways removed by polishing in the first steps.
    Im attempting this myself because to many scammers and there are no one like you in sweden 😅. Thanks in advance!

    How long would it take for the spray coating to dry if you don’t have access to fans blowing on them like you do? Can you do it without the fans? I understand the fans just speed up the drying process. Thanks in advance! Great video as always!

      After using this method for over a year in many conditions (hot/sunny, gloomy/cool, evening/moisture), its best with dead summer heat, or air drying for about 10 minutes outside with little to no moisture. Any moisture while curing, or spraying them at night makes it hard for it to harden and can harden with moisture spots into the coating and needs them to be redone. If you can, wipe dry the following morning and coat them as the sun comes out.

    Hey brother, good to see another great video! I have a question, a customer asked me to do his tail lights next week and I was just going to do it exactly like I do the headlights, using your method, is that how you would do them? They're just a solid red light on a 2003 GMC Sierra....

    • @michesbianan
      @michesbianan Месяц назад +1

      You can, but tail lights are a little bit different than the front. For tail lights, any rubbing compound and polish will do the trick with a polisher.

    • @karkule5919
      @karkule5919 Месяц назад

      You don't need that Meguiars spray BS because tail lights are Acrylic not Polycarbonate like headlights, so they never change color. And don't be so sold on everything he says and does, because 2 years of experience does not make one an expert, but he thinks he is.

      @karkule5919 Just so you know, I've been doing headlight restorations for about 15 years, but just recently started doing them using his method, I used to do them using a wet sand method, using a wipe on clearcoat, the headlights would look good, sometimes great but not always consistent. Ever since I started using his method, they are consistently amazing! When I first started watching his videos, I would kind of think the same thing, that he doesn't know everything, but I decided to try it, and it's always perfect. Why disrespect someone who is only trying to help you?! I don't understand people who do shit like that! If you don't like his videos or how cocky and confident he is, then stop watching! Maybe you should do your own videos since you seem to "think" you know everything! You're probably one of those 2K clear guys haha butthurt....

      @@chrissanchez6610 First of all it’s just my opinion based on HIS videos. And I guess you don’t notice how foggy many of his jobs are and even RUclipsrs ask him how come, and he blames the plastic, and some people know why, so figure that out. And secondly, after 15 years of doing this, if you could not find a method that gave you great and consistent results until you found his videos, then people should not hire you. To be fair, he does have some really good points and tips, and I have to give him credit for those.

    What do you do or say to a customer when the headlight doesn’t come out completely crystal clear , not due to you but because of what’s going on with either the backside of the lens or hazy spots ? I’ve had this happen couple of times now with a 2015 rav4 that looked like it had a leak then stained the inside and I had a 2008 Honda that had only what I can say was burned hazy spots infront of the bulb. But both situations I couldn’t see it till I was done.

I had a slight orange peel on my truck and I figured that I just didn't spray enough but I was worried about runs and over spray. When I did my wife's 16 legacy that we bought new I wanted to get it as perfect as possible so I just watched a few of his videos and I figured that I wasn't spraying enough of the clear coat. I also didn't use a fan like he does so I did that too on my wife's car. He also says to warm the can of spray so I did that too. Really just do exactly what he does. The polisher is too high RPM for sanding, you would literally melt the plastic and destroy the sanding disc. Use a drill with 1200- 4000 rpm only when sanding, and a drill doesn't have enough speed to polish. Just get both, you won't be sorry. Oh and Milwaukee makes a dang good high speed mini polisher just like the Delco, but having the same batteries is way better than having two different brands
