- The other OM of the Month is Alphabet Cup! This format gives Pokemon every move that matches the first letter of their name! In this video, I use Slaking with Skill Swap to get rid of its awful Truant ability and begin setting up with Victory Dance which it gets thanks to Vigoroth being in its Evolution Line!

I never thought i would see a slaking with pure power and bulk up with a speed boost in a serious match
Primarina gets boomburst from Brionne. Pair that with liquid voice and throat spray and it seems like a pretty fun set
Sadly, Primarina doesn't exist in Gen 9.

Quiver dance typhlosion, priority sticky webs sableye, gigaton hammer goodra, geomancy gholdango, shift gear + brave bird salamence. Just a few set I thought I'd mention. Don't know if all of them can be done, but I don't really care.
Sadly gholdengo cant get geomancy as it is not in gen9 but it would be op and probably banned if it could

Shift Gear is amongst the moves that is banned on non-native users in Alphabet Cup. The others are Belly Drum, Fillet Away, Glacial Lance, Revival Blessing, Shed Tail, Shell Smash and Surging Strikes. Additionally, Acupressure, Baton Pass and Last Respects are just straight-up banned even on native users.
Skeledirge is broken.
It gets strength sap and cosmic power with a combination of torch song
And with Unware, it cockblocks setup sweepers
There's a reason I put unskillswappable pokemons like paradox mons,eiscue and gholdengo in my team.
Shocker that spending 5 turns to set up with Sableye is your opponent setting up to lose a huge amount of momentum when invariably your fast spinner gets a free turn. 😒 Or they just hand you the match because 5 turns of you setting up freely offensively is so overwhelming it's a 6 mon sweep.
Adaptability basculegion with Tera normal and boom burst is pretty deadly
If Blastoise is available give it Wave Crash shell smash 😂
Im using the samurott set you’re using except with ability shield for slaking leads. Dragon dance with 2 free turns of dragon dance makes it a menace even without life orb

@@ladyriethegoldendelmo5441 The video features Showdown's Alphabet Cup in which Pokemon get every move they can learn that begin with the same letter as them (including their evolutions). For example, Slaking gets Skill Swap because Skill Swap begins with the same letter as Slaking, S, but this only applies on the Alphabet Cup format, so Slaking can't learn Skill Swap in any regular format like OU since it can't learn it naturally. Note that Pokemon in the Alphabet Cup can still use moves they naturally learn.

Where did all these torque moves come from I never seen them until this gen but also never see them on the moms I use in ou ever. Is it just some Smogon move?

I was thinking about it, and it would help with being able to clear hazards, but I intended to use it offensively and Sheer Force Life Orb makes it hit very hard
