i love how she looked so nervous almost fidgety with shyness, like a school girl talking about her love crush, husband and father of her children.She's had an amazing career as a lawyer, being at the forefront of international court of justice and criminal court ,dealing with war and political refugees. Yet she did all that fearlessly and brilliantly. She gets so much media and public attention now because of Him now because of course society, and who he is. But professionally, even as an arts lover and devotee, to me at least, she's accomplished more important and meaningful, civil work worldly speaking and he's put a lot of effort to do the same as a famous actor and thats what brought them together.I admire them both for their core values. He finally met his match who could challenge him in all aspects of life and not just some younger woman than him who is like side show candy. George is great and you can tell that as we do, he knows he married the woman who finally was out of his league. He got lucky she's class, brains and beauty all together.

It's pretty simple why she married him. All marriages are a partnership, especially Hollywood ones. It's a chance for George to become more of an activist or at least be perceived as one, and a chance for Amal to reach a wider audience. Cause let's be real here, if she hadn't married him we'd all still be asking "who the hell is Amal?"
I actually learned of Amal before even knowing she married Clooney, when she was defending a victim of rape during war in Iraq, Nadia who was raped for months by 12 members. I also learned of Amal when she was a lawyer of Julian Assange. So trust me, she gets way more coverage to me than a mere actor. I guess for people like you who really have no idea what's going on in the real world, you do not get coverage of people like Amal, that's understandable.
