    Already have one! If you are growing in a tent, don't attach the drivers to the unit. Leave them outside the tent cause the heat that comes off them is extra heat you don't want around your plants.

      @@SarahNicole420 I couldn't find anyone on RUclips that had one of these before I bought it. I had questions about how good it worked. But I started with the TS1000 and it worked great so I eventually got this one and I'm super happy with my purchase.

    One draw back is they should have made the cords for the driver longer especially since the idea is you can keep the drivers outside the grow room to avoid heat issues

    They just put out the most par for cost. Grow light science grow 200 and grow 300 are the best lights out for smaller grows. Under 5x5. You could go commercial with them tho.

    You should avoid touching or getting any liquids or chemicals on the aluminum reflector. The unprotected surface is prone to staining and oxidation, which will affect the reflectivity.

    I own half of a working ts3000. It was a full power beast for 4 months now its a 227 watt half a light. Customer service has been a nightmare. The more I read the more I realize the info was out there before I made the purchase so it's definitely my bad. There are comparable products with companies who actually care. Shit happens but how does the company respond when it does?

      @sk8legendz spyder farmer se5000, the new ac infinity lights I hear great things about but my only experience is a small one for clones. Any decent bar light will be better than a ts3000 for sure. Even if you stick with mars hydro(I wouldn't) go for a bar style light

    Mars Hydro make great entry level grow products and are constantly evolving.
    They are superior to spider farmer in every way.
    People need to remember spider farmer IS the former Meihzi which built crappyass lights. Now they change their branded name and copy ALL the horticulture leaders and charge here in Canada 🇨🇦 $1.80/watt unless the fixtures on sale. Way too much money for a fixture thats just a copycat idea of others. Overpriced products period.
    Mars Hydro for the win 👍🏻

    Spider Farmer brags about “We use only top bin samsung diodes” like they are the only company in the world that gets Samsungs top diodes haha. And now what??? Oh yeah now their using Seol brand diodes. They are just after as much money from the common grower as they can grab.

    I thought you said it was affordable, $450.00 isn't pocket change

    • @SarahNicole420
      @SarahNicole420 3 года назад +5

      Bro..$450 is a hella good price for what ur getting. U see what black dogs, gavitas, photontechs & solarstorms etc. Etc. Are?
      Bro.. most of the top notch LEDs are around 1800-2500 + so to get a 3000 watt that ACTUALLY PERFORMS PROPERLY & gives u yields & quality similar to that of the top tier LEDs at around 450 is a steal of a deal!!
      Shop around & do your research. You'll see.

    • @SarahNicole420
      @SarahNicole420 3 года назад +4

      Whilst I agree that $450 isnt pocket change. Ur right about that but it's not cheap to get into the home grow game. PERIOD!!!
      I bought evrything I thot I needed (lmao) & cost me around 2k
      Found out that my light wasnt powerful enough and dont like my setup so now I'm gonna need to upgrade and the best light I could find for my needs is like $800
      So...here I go again saving & saving to get enuf $ to upgrade my equipment.
      My long winded point lol is that u should just put the money out & dont try to cheap out.
      I bought the vipar spectra w450 thinking that was enuf. Lolololol.
      Not even close!!!!!!
      And it cost me $225!!!
      Moral of the story kids. Do your research and dont try to cut any corners or cheap out on the important shit like lights, genetics, tents, exhaust systems, grow medium. Etc.
      Good luck to u bro.

    No, just no. "Price Point" It's an overpriced quantum board.
    Order off Alibaba and get it straight from China at nearly half the price. Better Diodes.

    • @realfortin
      @realfortin 3 года назад +3

      The better diodes I'd certainly argue. Off Alibaba you'll get diodes that are not what you were promised, it will be knockoffs. There is no accountability and no "real" warranty. I did that for come sweet sounding COB based lights 2 years ago and they have degraded performance by 50%. Guess what? The "companies" don't exist anymore. They promised a 3 years warranty. They dissapeared 6 months after my purchase. They sell the exact same light under a different brand. With MARS, they honour their warranty and they are likely to be around next year.

    • @ThePopaul87
      @ThePopaul87 3 года назад +1

      @@realfortin Dont just buy from any on ali, Meiji or Meiju(i never remember this one) , Kingbrite & Bava. In that order from cheapest to most expenssive. Only 3 you should be trusting. You'll have ZERO problems. & if you do they will ship you a new light. We've been using 'em for years in the discord I'm in. Only thing we'd reccomend.
