The old gummy legs will be my biggest problem with him. Hopefully they give us a pinless legged with removable cape in a retro package. Thanks for the head swaps
Thanks for the review. I preorder two to surgically remove the cape and wait for a custom cloth cape. I'm also going to try switch out the hair pieces with the two heads

Ordered for delivery. This will be the last Dr. Strange I need, as I have 3 Marvel Earth displays and this will be my 3rd Dr. Strange. All 3 are different versions, this one, MCU, and What If? version, as all 3 Earths are different.
The blue head is NOT a Mask. Its his actual face. He had to alter his actual appearance, not to hide his identity, but to be able to return to our dimension, because the sorcerer ASMODEUS had taken Strange's appearance in order to fool the Ancient One and gain access to the Book of the Vishanti. Because no two identical instances of the same person would be able to exist in our reality, Strange had to alter his very appearance. As he says: "Many are the forms and faces of the man called...Doctor Strange!" He continued to use the blue appearance because, after drawing too much attention to himself during a battle with NIGHTMARE in Times Square at midnight on New Year's Eve, he saved ETERNITY who then granted Strange anonymity by making the world forget his name, and at the same time giving Doc a new identity of Stephen SANDERS. When Doc quit magic (after a sacrificial adventure in Hulk #126) he returned to medicine, as a consultant, but MORDO tried to usurp his position, and fooled Wong, by hiding behind a blue MASK. Doc had to re-dedicate himself to magic in order to defeat Mordo, and then resumed his duties, but without the blue persona (Marvel Feature #1 - back-up story "The Return".[
For a plastic cape this looks like the best we've gotten. My complaint with them is that they often limit the posing for the figure, they're back heavy, and often they don't attach right. But this one is great!
Yeh I genuinely think this looks great for a plastic cape & there are definitely advantages of it being glued into position, I think it looks great on display 👌🏻
I really like this Strange all around. Might even rival my Mezco classic Strange. He comes with everything you want and the cape looks good and glued. Happy new year to the Who Crew!

The head sculpts look way better than I thought they would when they announced this. For anyone wanting to unplug the cloak I imagine heating it up should do the trick.

The weapon holding hand is still the wrong type of hinge, the emblem on his chest should be way lighter in color, the cape should be removable, the gummy and plain legs, and he’s a bit short in my opinion all at the low low price of 31 dollars. Yeah he’s gonna be a pass for me. Not a bad figure at all and if he was the normal price point I’d probably not be as picky but he’s not worth the money in my eyes. (Although I will give them credit for not using the same bubble effects and instead the ones that make more sense for him.)
Not really. Cape is too huge and the scale is small by today's 6' scale standards. 95% of Hasbro Marvel legends figures blow away their Toybiz counterparts. Dr Strange is no exception.
Well I say you say just my opinion, got the new one on preorder fingers crossed with Walmart, they seem to get the best exclusives in the US, but I never see them in any stores in my state.
@@DanWhoReviews You shouldn't have to look past it. Classic Strange has been done in the past and it was correct, with a removable cape. They only did this to get people to buy it out of fear they won't do the correct version down the road....which they're gonna do.

That’s about the only problem with this figure. The cape is more of a preference thing I don’t mind it but it does hinder certain poses though.
Old Grummy Legs is a big Villan in the Marvel Universe you have to watch out for him 👀

"meditation" head sculpt can also double for a knocked out Dr Strange. Blue mask was Marvel trying to make Strange look like Spawn back in the 90s.

They should have made it a regular release, and not a exclusive! Very disappointed with it! We alredy have tons of MCU!
