When robbie said he'd swap all he has for Gary's family life it made me cry. I can't help but feel sorry for him. He definately is misunderstood. But i LOVE take that now as a 4 peice, and I think Robbie joinging them would ruin them to be honest. Robbie belongs as a solo artist, and the other 4 belong together.
And when Gary says 'there's only 1 winner'
personally...i think it was and always will be Gary.

I love Gary and Robbie's relationship today. But my heart just breaks seeing Gary's face to what Robbie said to him through the television. Though they were nice things it just seems so unfair that Gary was the only one not getting something personally nice said about him.

I just sat and watched all the parts from 1 to 11!I'm in tears right now, the last bit was really moving. Loved seeing Gary as a dad =)

I remember watching this when it was first on TV and it totally crumbled my sugar-sweet, happy, smiley memories of being a Thatter back in the 90s. Now, having grown up with the boys and being a lot more mature myself I can see why Robbie did not meet the lads. For a vulnerable, depressed man who had not seen three out of four of the guys for years, meeting them all in a room at the same time with cameras all around must have been absolutely terrifying. Was it the easy way out? Maybe, although I think he must have felt bad about not going, too. What makes my heart clench, though, is Howard trying with all his might not to cry. I'm glad these five lads made up since this documentary.

Finally the truth from Rob's mouth, nobody tell him to meet the others at the end of the documentary but only to leave a message. He said if I knew they wanted to mount this film like that I would never agree to do it. And he never want the Gary's life but only to be in a band again.

Gary never wanted to be in a band to start with, but to be a solo artist. So he used Take That as a vehicle. Robbie wanted a chance to also get a voice in the band but basically was shut down, cause of bad mangagement and Garys Ego trip. Which was one of the reasons that lead to TT desintegrating. But of course thats just one little piece of the whole story. In an interview in Sweden both of them were impressivly open about their past conflicts.

I don't thing that Robbie was jealous of Gary. He simply grow up and don't want to stay under Nigel and Gary. If you see now, the new Take That is different than before, now they write the songs all together and they sing all (also Jay).
The truth of the split only them know why, but I remember Mark witch say that he miss Robbie more than the others. Strange if he was so guilty.

This is amazing to watch knowing what we know now. It was the catalyst in their subsequent reunion and Robbie missed the boat, unfortunately for him as his pride still had the better of him...I wonder what the outcome would have been had he shown up...I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be preparing for their next major concert or returning from Paris having just promoted The Circus. Or would they...? AMAZING...

I do give much respect to Robbie for having the courage to even send them a message saying sorry. But at the end of the day,as much as i respect him, i think the damage is done and he can never go back. The lads are better off without him. They come back 10 years later and they still have the fans and fame. i think they do work best as a four piece.

Never forget is probably their best song in my opinion. It’s a shame they broke up the first time when they were so big. They didn’t need to just because Robbie left. Which is why I’ve always thought was the reason they split up. Nigel more or less confirmed this in another documentary.

In that Jay can see straight through Robbie when he is apologising to them. I would love to see them make just one song together but not for Robbie to stay and become part of the band, I just think his ego will take over again and will so something stupid and will hurt one of the other is some sort of way. I've got a feeling that Jay and Howard don't want him to be part of the band again. I don't think Mark does really he just wants his best mate back. Just my opinion
