I bought a Nikon since this review, and the thread is slightly too long, solution is a washer to shorten the length, or use another plate. The OEM makers plates I have used (Manfrotto/Velbon etc), are not too long for Nikon cameras.
@@MrBazReviews Yes, I am looking into buying one of the k&f tripods with this magic plate and then the rode wireless go microphone. Just wondering if you can connect the mic to this holder. Thanks
@@Frizzle2003 I've not used the Rode I think it has a clip on it, can you use an elastic band to clip it to the holder? I suspect so not sure there is a thread for it
