Black Cat Nero done by TURBO has a special place in my heart, but ATEEZ killed it with their version. Respect!
Fun fact:the original song it's from 1969 and it's an Italian song for kids called "Volevo un gatto nero"

@@onlypanic8454 The original version is actually much older than 2007 lol it was originally created and performed in 1969 for an international children’s song competition. But I agree wholeheartedly that all of the versions of this song are really good. :’)
@@DC11961 I probably got the wrong date...but yes the program where it was performed is called the "Zecchino d'oro", it's a music show I watched since I was little. Thanks for correcting the date,in fact thinking about it when I searched for the date it seemed too recent :)

This cover that ATEEZ did was for a show called immortal show. The song was originally sung by TURBO and at the end of this mv was the main vocalist Kim JungKook.

Actually in the solo dance break that was Hongjoong not San.
And this song is a tribute to Kim Jongkooks(he was in the video) old duo group Turbo which also sang this song

"VOLEVO UN GATTO NERO" is an old italian kids' song which means: "I wanted BLACK CAT" it was remade by TURBO a k-group, Jungkook one of the integrants is in the MV too...

Shockingly San isn't even in the dance line. The main dancers are Yunho, Mingi and Woo young then Yeosang is the lead dancer. The one with the mask is Hongjoong the leader

Ateez performed this song at Immortal songs ( a Korean show , Turbo made this song and they had to “recreate it” ) and they won. The man at the end ( he came out the ground ) is a member of Turbo Kim Jongkook , and he decided to participate in this MV . This song is the Korean version of an Italian song , and “Nero” means black.
And no San is not the main dancer ( the main dancers are Yunho , Mingi and if I’m not wrong Wooyoung ) he is just too good on stage , has an amazing stage presence.
Yes the main dancers are Yunho, Mingi and Wooyoung. The lead dancer is Yeosang. But today, San's position was upgraded to performance line member (performance line are Yunho, Mingi, Wooyoung and Yeosang), so we are really proud of him.
Fun fact:
San isn’t even in the dance line ( which is just stupid) but the dance line is Mingi, Yunho and Wooyoung
Edit: All the members are amazing dancers but this is only according to Codename is ATEEZ, but according to Hongjoong’s Vlive (this morning lol) there are no longer positions in ATEEZ

Turbo, the original singer for The Black Cat Nero, is the man that was “resurrected” in the video. If you watch their live performance of it from Immortal Songs it’ll make more sense. Basically, I feel like this performance MV was like ATEEZ bringing a new life into an old classic which was symbolized by Turbo being resurrected.

I had already seen the do the cover of the song during Immortals. And then I saw the original by Turbo. And then they came out with this video and I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hyped!

You should definitely check out some guide/crack videos of them - they're entertainers both on and off the stage 😆 Seriously - they if they never became idols they would have made amazing comedians

ateez have the best stage presence in kpop (right now atleast) hands down! i am constantly thinking about the time seonghwa and san got so invested into their performance (inception era) that they looked like they were going to start crying at any moment.
I'm not an Atiny but I admit that when I first watch this video my soul literally left my body ... I really Respect them. I also think they are one of the best dancers/performers in Kpop groups

ATEEZ are most DEFINITELY amazing dancers, performers, artists, etc! They are one of the best in the industry wolrdwide! They are in a level of their own!👏👏

When I first saw this, I was shook. Especially since they gave this cover a rock vibe. And being a metalhead first & foremost, I was living for it. And then I actually screamed when Kim Jongkook came in. Like he doesn't do that with just anybody who covers Turbo's songs. This preformance video really showed just how high of a level ATEEZ is on. And I am so unbelievably proud of them.
San is my bias for a reason. His stage presence is unmatched. Ateez are amazing performers. All of them can dance/sing/rap their asses off

This was actually the first MV I saw of them and I loved it. It hit so hard fr. By now I've seen their most famouse MV's like Pirate King, Wave, etcétera, and I like their style.I still don't know their names though hahahahah But I'll definitely get on that soon.

The one that they did in immortal song, is done live. It gave me goosebumps. I watch it 10 times none stop . That my dear boys was way more epic because it was live .
Nero is simply the name of the black cat, this was actually a song they cover for a Korean competition show called Immortal Songs were they won the episode, so they decide to make a performance video for it because the performance got so much love. And towards the end of the mv Kim Jong Kook who is a Turbo member, the original singers of the song and joined them in the video.
Yes, was waiting for this! Why is no one reacting to it?! First time I watched this I remembered My Chemical Romance. It sounds so different but the dark elements are something that triggered that. I'm a fan of dark creepy concepts. Also I couldn't stop replaying Hongjoong's dance, I broke replay button tbh.

I watched the Immortal Song performance of The Black Cat Nero which was great & mindblowing. I think it's better than the actual performance video bcz you can feel the energy when they are performing live.

Hongjoong’s dancing has improved so much. Every member of Ateez are phenomenal dancers, but San is one of the top dancers in Kpop. I can’t take my eyes off of him whenever he performs. There’s a little extra magic there.
Remember guys, they’re gonna be on the show, kingdom! I can’t wait to see what they have planned. This year on Road To Kingdom, Pentagon and The Boyz blew my mind. But Kingdom will be phenomenal with Ateez! So Atiny let’s support!
