This is a cover of a Turbo song, which in turn is a twist on the Italian version from the 60s. They performed this on Immortal Song and won while still being rookies at the time.
I saw their performance on the show. Their win was well deserved. In this Halloween version, the guy in the cape who came near the end is Kim Jungkook, half of the Turbo duo. Currently, Jungkook is a member of a hilarious and popular TV show called Running Man.
I grew up listening to this song (which is mostly sung by little kids here in Italy) and i never thought i’d listen to a rock version of it!
Ateez being the kings they are managed to bring my past and present together pulling off an excellent performance on Immortal Song and then an amazing video. I love them🥰

I cant be the only one who literally got goosebumps when THE LEGEND Kim JongKook turned up near the end. He is one of the most accomplished idol of all time and probably the 3rd most popular celebrity in all of Korea
Ya'll should watch their performance of this on Immortal Songs when you have a chance during your free time. You'll get to hear Jongho slay his part live. They killed this performance live.

The live version on Immortal Song is legendary.. Even the original singer Turbo and the audiences gave a standing ovation.. A well deserved win for ATEEZ the 4th gen KINGS..

This song is a cover of a song of an older korean group called Turbo but the actual origin of this song is in Italy. In Italy every year there's a show called "Zecchino d'oro" where kids sing various songs and the original song was "Volevo un gatto nero" (I want a black cat) from 1969 and then Turbo made a "remake" of it but the chorus and some parts of the verses are still the same
Yall! I've seen them live for the 1st World Tour and let me tell you nothing compares!! And we were in a little ass venue too, but they tore up the stage like it was a stadium! I can't wait to see them in an arena where they belong!!!!

this song is sang by group called Turbo. All the koreans were doing these dance move inside night clubs in the 90s. I stopped listening to kpop as I grew older but I am so proud of these korean music finally being recognized. Enjoy guys like i did in the 90s
React to the original group Turbo and the singer of the group Kim Jong Kook. Kim Jong Kook is a fantastic singer with high notes. To see his high notes search “Kim Jong Kook Tears” which is a cover and highlights some very high notes! The person at the end is the original singer.
Also "She's gone", KJK's high note is really powerful and incredible.
Yes ATEEZ bringing the original damn artist to their cover MV is something I never expected but totally deserved!!!!!!

Oh man, you guys reactions was sooooo fun to listen to. I think, I am going to listen to your reactions again. I agree 100 percent with you all, when Ateez comes to the party, they are going full blown hard core all the way. I have always been amazed at their incredibly intense choreography, I mean their dance moves and transitions are from another planet. They are in their own lane with the dancing, its exciting to watch. And, the rapping flow is snapping, and so on point with the darkness and energy of the video and song. The visuals is total Flame and a little enticing, in my opinion. Ateez looks so HOT, with or without makeup. Again, they all look enticing and sexy on this video, in my personal opinion. Their live version on immortal songs of this song is so so so so so so so much better. Please promise you guys will react to it. They won the competition because of that song! And the original artist was there when they performed it. They performed it like a month ago.

HYBE were not concerned about BTS going into the military, which we all know is happening next year, now apparently they are concerned, because this is almost a carbon copy of what happened when G DRAGON and BIGBANG had to go in, BTS were always good but when BIGBANG disappeared for awhile someone stepped up and that someone's were BTS and they smashed it out of the park, they earned their place in the K POP legendary book of ICONS, people forget or don't know but we had EXO and iKON and Winner out and all three were phenomenal but it was BTS who picked up the crown and they have yet to put it back down, I believe ATEEZ and STRAY KIDS will be the KINGS. BTS are already top dog, they have nothing to prove, exciting time for next year though, ATEEZ STRAY KIDS BLACKPINK, these 3 will be the big dogs in 2022
