Green Lantern arcs weave such a great story, mostly because there is more to work with.
His ring power is over 9000
The glommy part almost made me cry
Man this story made me sad poor ganthet... I remember the comic Kyle Rayner was chosen by Ganthet.
Sweet Jesus, how are the guardians still running the Green Lantern Corps? Hell, how does anyone trust them with anything for that matter? They keep fucking up in the most awful of ways. They banished their savior and greatest lantern ever from the corps, they reinstate a traitor and a criminal with no questions asked, and they rip the very soul out of the only guardian who doesn't have his head up his own ass.Infinite wisdom and power my ass! They do more to harm the universe than any villain ever could!

I think he meant the fact that he created the whole Flashpoint world and ended up rebooting the entire Dc universe amd creating the New 52.

Probably if GL reboot of 2020 is great . WB could put both Hal Jordan & John Stewart for the 1st GL film , 3rd film I wonder if Blackest Night is possible . Many fan favorites

I'd love to see Guy, Kyle or John in the sequel/reboot. Blackest Night would require a LOT of freaking build up. It'd have to be hyped like a Justice League or even more so than Marvel's Infinity Gauntlet movie, and be GOOD in order for it to really pay off.

The 2020 film is bound to be better than the first one for sure, because WB won't want the same mistakes happening twice, so thats a positive. Also by 2020 the DC universe on earth will be well established, so I think GL will be like the next big phase for them. And the fact that they put it last could mean something big might happen that will set up the next big slate. Its really exciting!
The story continues with Kyle! Dont worry our next story will explain what Sinestro and Hal were doing during this event. BUT we might skip next Friday. Right now we're trying to wrap up Batman INC and Spiderverse, and we're going to be launching a video every other day while we take a break. So Next Friday will either be the next Hal Jordan story for this, or Spiderverse if it took that long to finish up.

UGH there's just so much lore and story in comic books I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH. I love this channel and what you're doing though since It's hard for a newcomer like me to know where to start and what's already happened. This is such a well done channel and I can't wait for next week's video. Keep up the good work and dftba :D

It's kind of sad that Sayd's call for help was ignored. She should have said that with Ganthet having his emotions removed, the kind of Guardian that the universe deserved, the one who could have made a difference who would not only protect the universe for mortal races but also acknowledge and seek atonement for their wrongs, was no more and after what the Guardians have done running up the Blackest Night and the War of the Green Lanterns, new Guardians were needed as the ones without emotion presiding over the Green Lantern corps placed little to no value on life, only order and without someone like Ganthet to equal their power, life would suffer judgement from a race that had stood aside and saw only chaos.
I think, had she worded her plea like that, she might have warranted the kind of response she needed from each of the ring bearers, as all of them know just what the old guardians are capable of and how they never acknowledge their mistakes as their own, rather the failures of life.

We need a name for Kyle's Seven Ringed Lantern form. Pseudo White Lantern was used in the last video about it. Hybrid Lantern is how it's described in the wiki page for Kyle but there are other Hybrid lanterns that don't have all 7 rings. Idk man I'm partial to Super Lantern. Seriously, putting on all 7 rings and getting a super form out of it just so awesome. I honestly like that better than his White Lantern form in terms of aesthetics because his Super Lantern constructs are rainbow colored while his White Lantern Constructs are either white or green.
Also, later in the story there's a point where Kyle loses his White Lantern powers for a little while, and what I thought was going to happen was the New Guardians and Hal or Jon or w/e would swoop in and all fire their rings at his ring to charge it with every color of the emotional spectrum, since Kyle doesn't seem to have an actual lantern.

So the real question is why is it when kyle wields all the rings here hes this grey lantern but later in the comics he becomes a white lantern?
BTW a living person can wield and control a black lantern ring if they have control of the original 7 emotions. super boy prime did this. So i woud love to see someone wield all 9 rings at once.
Lastly since Amazo, Ivos android copies and adapts powers could he copy all the rings and remove their weakness? like if he copied a blue ring could he use its powers without a green lantern being near?

Also as discussed before... I can get why Darkseed isn't decimated by an entire army of Green Lanterns, simply because as long as he remains on his side of the playground and as long as he doesn't threaten the entire universe, his power and the risk of capturing him makes Green Lanterns hesitant to face him. Eventhough that's bullshit and the anti-life theorem could probably wipe out a far greater number of galaxies then the Lanterns expected... kind of dropped the ball on that one since no earth lanterns told the Guardians about that...
Why the hell is Larfleeze still not captured? He's an obvious threat that can go bipolar at the snap of a finger if something motivates him enough to move his entire fleet of constructs to another galaxy. From an agency, government, or military standpoint, wouldn't he be classified as a priority one threat? It's like giving the Joker a lantern full of lesser yet capable people he sprayed Joker gas on. This never made sense to me. The only reason they keep him around is for plot reasons.
