HI Jane- good to see how you do this but my (considerably older) fingers prefer to use a fringe twister. To each their own. I look forward to seeing anything on your RUclips channel- thanks for your generosity.
You made this look so easy. I have used a battery operated twister and it is more work than what you are doing for the same effect. Can't wait to try your way. Thank you!
Thank you so much from Korea ^^ So lucky to find you. Jane actually I've purchased a vintage cashmere muffler, but the thing is some of the fringes have been untwisted. Well not completely, but each of them a little.. Can I just follow your way from the untwisted point or need to untwist completely and retwist?
So glad you found us! The twisting may be done differently. You could try to do this method with one fringe from the untwisted point and see if you like how it looks.
Thank you, after watching your video this is far less daunting than I thought it would be!
Glad it helped! Once you start, you'll get comfortable with it and get those fringes twisted in no time!

Yahoo! thanks for sharing this method...my fringing is not so pretty and now I know how to fix! Just in time for some silk scarves on the loom.

Hi Jane - Question: do you fringe before or after wet- finishing? Thank you for sharing your method.
