beautiful scarf nice and easy it looks going try it thanks
Such a stunningly beautiful scarf! So glad I found your video, never realized it was so easy! Thank you for your lovely tutorial!
I understood this and think I can do it. I've tried to use the little tool and it was super awkward for me too. Thank you.
We sure do like you, Kari Fell,
Because you teach us very well;
You use that good old "show and tell"
With style and grace, clear as a bell,
Unlike the unloved Dr. Fell.
[And why that was, no one could tell,
But this they knew, and knew full well:
They did not like poor Dr. Fell.]
Haha! Thanks!
I wondered how to do this. Now I know. Thank you.🌿
Thank you. Seems so much simpler that using the bulky twister.
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you! Yours is exactly the sort of instruction I was hoping to find.
Glad I could help!

You are so welcome! Glad it is helpful.
The scarf is amazing!
Thank you! The draft is from Strickler and I played around with the treadling. I dyed the warp, of course :)
Hi Kari Fell
Can I do this if I've not hemstitched? would I carefully knot up towards the work and then twist and knot again?
You sure can! You can also twist fringes without knotting first. Each technique brings its own challenges and give a different look. It's up to you!
@@KariFellWeaves I just worry about the first row or two of weft unraveling..
@@thumpr1 Yes, that is a possibility, especially with a slippery fibre. But if you handle it carefully, a grippy wool can stay in place while twisting. You can do whatever method is comfortable to you.
you think this would look good on a shawl
