This show has the best sports interviews by a mountain and a mile. Anyone who comes on knows how loose and friendly this show is and it makes for some of the most light-hearted and authentic content. I’m tired of the buttoned up suit and tie interviews I’ve been forced to watch for the last 20 years. Hope you have wentz on more often. Never really seen him do a long sit down interview like this before. It’s really cool to see him open up and get to know him better. Seems like a great guy. An it’s good to hear his side of the story
Better be the very near future; he is incredibly self-centered and fragile so the colts better set the table well. No doubt he is already feeling victimized because the other guy refused to surrender his jersey number, and he's probably confused why the front office didn't force the guy to give it up. Not off to a good start from Carson's perspective.
@@timothye5936 incorrect my friend, he was apart of a team with 0 offensive weapons, an old OL and 2 incompetent front office people. If you ask me it seems like Carson chose the team with the better 5 year outlook. The guy shouldn’t waste his career on a team that can’t draft well past the 2nd overall pick. The Eagles future is not bright with or without Carson, and I’m an Eagles fan
@@austins985 I watched the Eagles jettison anyone that could be a threat to Carson's leadership. Anyone from the coaching staff he didn't like was ignored. The front office tried to engineer the situation to force everyone to recognize Carson as the unquestioned leader of the team, it had the opposite result. I'm not saying he doesn't have enormous talent and potential...he obviously does and I liked his game during the SB run. But he has a very fragile psyche that doesn't fit well in a team sport.
@@timothye5936 I don’t see how you can evaluate a guy’s psyche who you know nothing about personally. The eagles front office was poorly run before Carson and most likely will be after. Obviously I’d hope for the best but I don’t see how Carson could be considered the problem with howie and Lurie at the wheel
Pat Mac is truly special. He took time out of his day to talk to me in the Kohls parking lot on New Years day. Genuine and more talent in his pinky than anyone on ESPN roster
Honestly after watching this I agree with what Jason peters said, " Philly isn't for everybody". I think it was too much pressure. Maybe Indy is better we shall see.
Coming from a Philly resident and Eagles fan, Carson has always been that dude and will absolutely shine in Indy. Anybody with half a brain can easily see that Carson was the least of the Eagles problems last year. Hopefully the Colts can scoop up Julio to give Wentz that true #1 receiver and go get that Superbowl. I'll be rooting for the Colts next year because Wentz deserves it.
Yeah. It will be a bit heartbreaking to see him flourish in Indy. I personally wanted one more year for him to bounce back w/ the new coaching staff, but the relationship was beyond repair. I can't even be mad at him for wanting better for himself, but it was just a bad breakup. It's inevitable that he will be back in his bag of magic tricks in Indy & I don't think I can even bring myself to watch him. Hoping Hurts gives us the relief we deserve after this traumatic experience 😂
Oh God! It's like Carson Wentz is actually a great dude and had one down season and my entire city abandoned him for no reason other than a rampant ego trip. 🤦♂️ Have fun watching him ball out like crazy Indy.
Gut feeling that wentz leads that insanely underrated colts team far and has a good season. AND that cam Newton has a comeback season with bellicheck and the pats new weapons.
Carson Wentz just strikes me as someone who needed to be drafted into the right organization. It looked like Philly would've been the place, but we saw how that turned out. Hopefully, being in a new place with his old coach Frank Reich he can find some success. I especially want him to succeed now that he's out of the NFC East lol

2020 he was definitely a problem. but I can't think of anyone who wasn't a problem that year, the team just absolutely collapsed.
@@brendangilmartin4002 need to take it back to the Andy Reid era and start drafting big guys in the front.stop drafting busts and trading away our best players that we gave guaranteed money to.
@@brendangilmartin4002 I’m starting to think as good as Brandon brooks is he is consistently hurt and it’s time for a 4 year rebuild.
I don't understand why a bunch of bears fans didn't want him..as a bears fan I wanted him
A lot of people can't see anything past the stat sheet.
But now you guys got Andy Dalton... 😬
Cause Bears fans don’t no nun about QBs😂😂I’m 26 ain’t seen at QB their I liked
This Prince Harry guy needs to stop going on talk shows
As a Chicago bears fan I still remember us worrying about getting this guy. Look at us now 🤡🤡
What all you have to do is make it to the playoffs and then put Nick Foley’s in for all playoff games
In our defense we even could've gotten Watson and Nagy would've found a way to misuse him and go 6-11
I'm in Danger!

Love the fact that Pat apologized for what was said at the moments. I have tremendous respect for Pat’s interviewing skills. He reminds me of Jon Stewart, with no formal training they are both doing some amazing interviews.
Hope they make playoffs Carson is a solid guy
This show has the best sports interviews by a mountain and a mile. Anyone who comes on knows how loose and friendly this show is and it makes for some of the most light-hearted and authentic content. I’m tired of the buttoned up suit and tie interviews I’ve been forced to watch for the last 20 years. It’s so refreshing to see the human side of all these athletes without them worrying about every single word coming out of their mouth. Way to go pat! Carson, you seem like an overall good dude. Sounds like your heart is in the right place and you’re aware of what’s important in your life, best of luck man!
Rewatching this after the Colts & his former coach bailed on him after 1 year.
Hope you have wentz on more often. Never really seen him do a long sit down interview like this before. It’s really cool to see him open up and get to know him better. Seems like a great guy. An it’s good to hear his side of the story
One of my favorite interviews and hopefully this season we get Rogers Tuesday's and Wentz Wednesday's 🤣🤣
Well this aged well 😂
I have a feeling Carson will win a super bowl with this colts team in the near future
@@timothye5936 Agree, die hard Eagles fan here
Wentz is a delusional diva, it will show again next year
@@stevenmichaelfletcherjr4464 eagles fan here as well. You guys are toxic af.
The GREATEST show on earth. The Pat Mcafee Show 💪😎😂
Carson seems hella cool and down to earth. Glad he’s our quarterback!
Being an Eagles fan, you can hear Carson’s subtle stabs at Howie Roseman and Jeff Lurie. Good for him he got out of toxic situation.
lol...he was the toxic situation.
Glad to hear from Wentz. Never heard his side of the story from Philadelphia media.
Honestly i always liked Carson but this interview gives me a new profound respect for him completely. Great job pat and the guys
Wentz 100% just made a fan of soooo many people because of this. Handled it like an absolute champ.
.... and now they are all gone 🤣. Indy got Wentzed!!
@@peanutbutterripple1083 yep
Pat Mac is truly special. He took time out of his day to talk to me in the Kohls parking lot on New Years day. Genuine and more talent in his pinky than anyone on ESPN roster
As a Eagles Fan I loved this Interview like Sad to see him go
Great interview. Carson was a good guest.
Honestly after watching this I agree with what Jason peters said, " Philly isn't for everybody". I think it was too much pressure. Maybe Indy is better we shall see.
L
Damn. I'm a giants fan but I actually like Carson Wentz after seeing this. Guy ruined so many Sundays for me. I'm rooting for him and the Colts
Pat: "im talked about because i say dumb stuff in the mic"
carson: "yep"
So glad that Carson landed in Indy, this is going to be a big bounce back year for him. Selfishly, I wish he was in Minnesota.
Fantastic interview, but how the hell do you go 35-minutes without asking him if he's had a chance to chat with brother Jim Irsay??
I live in the same town as Giovanni, shahtaht Giovanni. Always thought it was cool how Carson sent him love.
Love or hate the player, but Carson the person is hard not to root for..🔥🔥
Pat McAfee...the GOAT of sports interviewers! Also vary underrated is the rest of the fellas and their enthusiasm. Kinda gives it a stadium feel.
Carson Wentz Wednesdays?
WENTZDAYS!
Wentzdays
Have fun watching him ball out like crazy Indy.
ESPN will be trying to create new content with This show as a model. Pat, you and your squad is ahead of the game
Wentz seems like a cool guy, I’ll be rooting for him this year.
We love you Pat! Colts fan for life, McAfee fan for life! McAfeee > ESPN
Pat was about to win the "Backpeddler of the Year" trophy,
Then JuJu got resigned and Diggz said: "hold my beekeeper suit."
I love how real Pat's interviews are.
