From all his interviews, I gather he's an introvert who can only open up to people who he thinks he can vibe with. So i don't think it matters if you're a wwe superstar or just a regular joe.
Usually people who say that, means they don't like to be in unwanted scenarios with more than just a few people. Close friends and family, and others that they can be comfortable around. It doesn't mean that they're socially awkward, or not able to communicate, it just means they don't go outside of their comfort zone with people they don't feel comfortable around. A lot of us can relate, most just don't come out and say it to avoid a negative stigma. Those who are introverted, are actually more extroverted than extroverted people in conversations lol

I really like this version of Brock the most, him being a babyface has to be a big factor in being able to be himself and not have to sell something. He seemed the most comfortable I can remember, he was funny, personable, humble and honest.

Brock is using these interviews as an opportunity to build his character and work the fans. This is what he gets paid a ton of money to do and he's damn good at it!
Since he rarely cut his own promos I always thought when we hear Brock Lesnar speak, it's gonna be a great moment. Watching him just having the time of his life with his promos in WWE, the current Brock Lesnar character is THE best version of Brock Lesnar.
Absolutely loved this! Fans know Brock doesn't like or do many interviews and for him to be comfortable enough to do this with Pat and the boys is awesome. Brock is also an absolute legend of a human being!
I don't think it's because brock is a bad guy, I just think he's a very private person. Probably introvert. Introverts arent unfriendly, they just are selective with who they let in their circle and interact with.

Brock doesn't do interviews that often and Pat is the perfect guy for hosting the interview. Huge Props to Pat McAfee and his team. What a wholesome man Brock Lesnar is! I think the fact that I’m used to his WWE persona and his UFC war battles that you forget how humble people really are! What an awesome, high-energy interview! Just verifying what Brock said. My father was a year older than Brock at Webster High School and we have followed his fighting career for forever. My dad always states how Brock was such a good athlete. They played football together and Brock was always very hardcore. He wasn’t one for discussing differences, he was a man of action and the best story my dad remembers is when some dude was talking smack in a football game to my dad and after the game the guy was walking out of the locker room to the bus where Brock walked up and didn’t say a word, just walked up and head-butted the guy. Darn near knocked him out. Will always love watching this guy compete!
@@Mooljim I never heard of him picking on people, but he has told stories that when he was young, he used to go into town looking for fights. Never really clarified if he was going into town to pick on people, or if he was just looking for a guy who needed his ass kicked.

This is the first interview where Lesnar isn’t monotone and showing emotion. This is incredible, 20 plus years in the game and this is the first time I’ve seen something like this from him. Well done
Only Pat McAfee can get the best out of guests like this. Absolutely unreal to see Brock so personable and down to earth compared to everything and anything ever seen before. Just proves more and more why this is the best sports show ever.
Pat as usual bringing the person out of the person. That’s what I love about Pat, he’s such a natural at what he does. Real recognises real and that’s why those that are usually introverted open up their personality.
Pat has a gift that allows his guests and anyone around him to just be completely at ease and be themselves. Unbelievable. Brock is awesome. We need this type of energy. No more guys in suits trying real hard to act macho and have hot takes. This was genuine. Best show.
Man, I know Brock doesn't do a ton of interviews but when you get someone like Pat that he just 'clicks' with, you get an awesome interview like this. Brock and I are the same age (born 1977). I'm loving this run of his because we are seeing 'real Brock' and the fans are finally getting to connect with him and his true personality. If this is his last great run (and I don't think it is), it very well could be the run he's most remembered for.
@It's Mike no one has ever let him really show how funny and nice he is. Everyone wants him to be the big monster fighting machine. He’s actually a really humble dude. You gotta be pretty humble to live in Saskatchewan. I do 😂
I will never forget my first time seeing Brock Lesnar. I believe it was either 2000 or 2001 at the Bangor, Maine auditorium where the WWE was hosting an untelevised event. I went with a couple of my friends, and near the end of the show, they announced Brock Lesnar's entrance. Nobody knew who he was at that point since he was new to the WWE and had only been appearing in dark (untelevised) matches while honing his in-ring ability. The moment he stepped out, the entire crowd was in complete awe. I had never seen such a monster before, and by the crowd's reaction, they hadn't either. Of course, he quickly became a superstar, which came as little surprise to me. To this day, he's one of the only people I specifically remember seeing for the first time. An absolute tank of a man.
Hearing Brock talk about coaches and mentors really makes me love the guy. That was the big thing for me growing up. Shaped me for everything good in life
One of the best interviews Pat has ever done and definitely the best interview Brock has ever done! 1:28 for the table break 47:15 for Brock's epic walk off headphone toss to the rafters!
What a humble and funny human being... he definitely earned all he got.. I remember years ago people criticizing him not knowing he was playing a character... incredible athlete and entertainer.
100%. Also have to remember Brock started MMA relatively late when compared to his peers. Imagine if he had began training accordingly in his teens versus his late 20s/early 30s.
The guy had a crazy lay-down game! He was the best at laying on guys and just hammerfisting them in the face for 3 rounds...Until a Mexican punched him in the head.
Well he was still recovering diverticulitis surgery which if I remember correctly was his second so I'll cut lack on cain but overream was roided to the moon got caught and he never not his win revoked and the loss taken off Brock's record
Patrick J. McAfee, you absolute legend. By far the most enjoyable interview with a professional wrestling figure in years. Seeing Brock being, well, Brock was lovely. So glad we finally get to the man behind that character, he’s quite a fun person to listen to.
Brock's confidence has improved massively over the years. I'd love to see him in Hollywood once he's finished wrestling. I doubt he will go down that path but he would make some great action movies
Even though Heyman is a great promoter, he really kept Brock hiding his persona. Yes I know how it works. But now that Brock's supposedly "free" of him the really true Brock is out of the box.
Hollywood? Brock?! Good joke there, not saying that Brock would be bad, but he’s not an actor, even in the ring, he doesn’t need to turn up the volume as stone cold did, his volume is always at 11! He’s old school when it comes to wrestling, it’s real to him.
This is single-handedly the greatest moment of this shows existence. I’ve been listening to new peaks and time and time again I say to myself, “no way to top this.” It’s incredible how much this show stinks.
First time I’ve actually seen a Brock Lesnar interview. Didn’t realize he was so personable. Having grew up on a farm myself raising hogs and chickens as well as hunting and growing crops, I can relate to him. Definitely someone I wouldn’t mind sitting down and talking to.
This may be my favorite interview ever done, not just on this show. Brock seems to have an awesome personality that we saw a little of during his UFC run and that we are getting to see a little more of here during this WWE run.
There's a reason they call this dude the BEAST.. he literally is one in every sense of the word. Really appreciated the no free rides for his kids attitude, hanging out and just living like a normal joe.
His kids are named Duke and Turk. If I hear someone's name is Duke Lesnar, I'm gonna be extremely disappointed if they're not a complete badass forged from steel.
Absolutely, you can tell Brock doesn't like the stuffy formality of interviews, but immediately felt the bro vibe and atmosphere of Pat's show and was instantly comfortable and at home.
I can already tell off the RIP Pat killed this interview. Dude can make anyone open up in story. Such a likable personality. Solid dude. Brock is a legend who got to the TOP of the entertainment career in WWE, college NCAA wrestling and top of his fighting career as UFC heavyweight champion. Talented athlete with crazy hard work ethic.
Such a shame that there’s zero money in wrestling (not wwe). Brock was good, he for sure could’ve continued after college and chased Olympic gold. But he made more money on Vikings practice squad then someone like Jordan Burroughs makes in an entire year wrestling. It’s Crazy, I understand it though. Not exactly entertaining to watch unless you competed before, kinda like baseball
"It takes a village to raise a kid." My father has said that my whole life. Now that I have a seven year old son I say it all the time. Brock seems like a great person and a great Father.
@@jinfin221 imo I think it means since kids pay attention to everything, they learn from everyone (the people around them, mostly where they live) so they don’t only get their personalities from their parents/family but the area they’re from
The way Brock ABUSED Pat's equipment is hilarious 😂. Easily the most surprised I ever been and one of the greatest interviews I ever seen. Brocks like a Connor but in extreme shape
Heard a lot about this interview, came in to watch some bits and ended up watching the whole thing from top to bottom constantly cracking up. Amazing interview. Brock constantly emphasizing on the importance of doing good business shows you that the guy learned from the best.
First time seeing this podcast, the random "WHUT!?" shouts and singing singing from everybody was hilarious. Great interview, looks like Brock just casually hanging out with friends, and he doesn't like people much so that's rare.
Grew up a triplet with another brother a year younger and my dad worked our asses off. I hated it at the time but he became my best friend. Lost him last fall but Brock's upbringing hit close to home.
24:32 is amazingly awesome. Another level. 1:27 Alpha Male🤣🤣🤣 41:21 Hell Yeah !! 47:15 Catch that … Brock is the real deal. Top interview.. Pat and Team, Absolutely Fantastic !!!
I met Brock years ago, I was wrestling for Minnesota 205lbs and he would be on campus a lot. Only actually spoke to him one on one maybe twice but I’ve heard some lectures from him. He’s the reason I wanted to wrestle when I watched him as a kid. He’s literally my favorite person and this interview I feel showed so much of his personality, something most people don’t see. Haven’t watched any wwe in a while but seeing him as a baby face sounds dope af and I’ll be tuning in now to see him. All the luck on the show boys, thanks for the content! What?!
Brock seems like a genuine, honest man. Seems to be a caring father with that typical father vibe, calling kids bastards while laughing, takes a village to raise a kid, but needs strong parenting. Dude, watching him cut up, and joke around was amazing
I love this side of Brock. I relate to him in a lot of ways about social anxiety and needing time to hibernate after big social situations. He's a hustler and a great role model
It is so refreshing to see this side of Brock and to know that he truly enjoys this run. To me, there is nothing better than actually enjoying what you do. Kudos to Pat for making this interview happen, Brock being gracious enough to do it, and how lucky are we man to see this interview? Such good dudes!
Love this interview. I’ve always known that Brock was extremely humble and a real nice person, but fans give him a bad wrap. In a vast majority of shoot interviews, everybody has really good things to say about him. I’m glad to see that reinforced when he does these rare interviews. It makes me happy to be a supportive fan of his!
a lot of his character is portrayed through notoriously heel personalities so its no wonder people think that way of him. but also he's a mean fighter too. wouldn't want to be on his bad side ever
Great interview. So many misconceptions out there about Brock because he’s a private person and doesn’t do these things. Seems like a pretty likeable guy. I hope he does more interviews like this.
Pat hit a jackpot with this interview..he was popping up for sure on the algorathim...but this one for sure is the one to be clicked..and makes me excited for more people to have an interview with him...cause it is not plain ...they have fun in there..and with them having BROCK doing it is just wholesome...excited for the next guest....subscribed

Human? He is far from human lol
I don't think it's because brock is a bad guy, I just think he's a very private person. Probably introvert. Introverts arent unfriendly, they just are selective with who they let in their circle and interact with.
I love what Brock said about his sons not having a free ride, that just shows how grounded he really is
Damn right! 🤙😊

Real recognises real and that’s why those that are usually introverted open up their personality. "I was born in the wrong century..." quite refreshing to hear Brock acknowledge what we've been thinking for years. Bro, this is one of the best interviews I've ever seen. I didn't know Brock was so humble and easy-going. Always on beast mode! Much love from P.R. Great interview! This is the first interview I've seen of Mr. Brock Lesner. I have watched him on the WWE for years. He plays his part in the WWE so well. He's an awesome, down-to-earth guy. He's what I call an American. I instantly like this guy. He's a real cool dude. Thanks so much for this interview. No lie it would probably be a blast to hang out with Brook for a day 44:34 Brock scared tf out of him 😭😂 I disliked Brock on a pretty bad scale back when he burst on the scene in WWE. But when I saw him compete in the UFC, my mind changed. And now seeing him on this podcast. The dude is so freaking cool. Great show Pat, and crew! This is huge. Pat and Brock are awesome separately and together. I have to say this after watching this episode of the Pat McAfee Show- IT WAS AWESOME!!!!!! I really love and enjoy every moment of Pat's conversation with Brock Lesnar just the guys having fun, enjoying food, talking about WWE & their goals, and just bringing up the fun & fanboy atmosphere- it just feels so good and awesome!!!! Really enjoy Brock accidentally breaking the table, LOL, it was priceless!!!! I really love Pat McAfee so much, he's literally my #1 favorite WWE commentator now- always fun, always passionate being in WWE as he's living his greatest dream coming true, and just connecting with fellow WWE superstars & fans!!!!!

This interview solidifies Pat as the GOAT. He's got Brock Lesnar breaking kayfabe as an interview. It does not get any better (Or bigger) than this. Congrats, Pat! You deserve it!
At this point tho Brock’s not even breaking character. His character now is just himself and I love it
Lesnar has done it a lot though? He rarely stays in kayfabe.
Yeah katfabe is really anymore basically limited to the program. Outside it is dead
This is the first interview where Lesnar isn’t monotone and showing emotion. This is incredible, 20 plus years in the game and this is the first time I’ve seen something like this from him. Well done
As opposed to Steve Austin who might have just been playing himself lol. But yeah both cool
My favorite thing about this intervie was the don't break the table moment 😂
Only Pat McAfee can get the best out of guests like this. Absolutely unreal to see Brock so personable and down to earth compared to everything and anything ever seen before. Just proves more and more why this is the best sports show ever.

Brock literally fits in perfect with the boys. He needs to be back on the show
Hearing Brock talk about coaches and mentors really makes me love the guy. That was the big thing for me growing up. Shaped me for everything good in life

Brock's career in the UFC is highly underrated. He was thrown to the wolves and held his own from the beginning.
Absolutely! You are a real one sir

"What was that game called, smear the q?" Brock Lesnar-
Brock's confidence has improved massively over the years.
