Love your vids. Blackstone has a lot of competition out there wrt to griddles and pizza ovens. They need to be on top of their game when they introduce new products. There's lots of portable pizza ovens available for less.
You said do not put it on wood..... then you had cardboard leaning up against it while it was heating up. Makes no sense to me. My question is since it is supposed to be portable did Blackstone make a carrying case for this to make it actually portable?
Thank you, Tom, I think it’s too small and there are much better choices out there (maybe getting to be too many)so for me it’s a pass! HALO all the way!
I own a pizza truck and wanted to o like halo. They got me a oven to try out to see if I could use it. They do not fit the bill for Neapolitan style pizza. There is no top heat and too much bottom heat. I use the big Blackstones now after using and trying every oven on the market. I have 3 bs, 2x roccbox and a halo and used ooni but they are not even on the same field. Ooni is at the bottom
Follow your reviews. Between various Webers and accessories, stick smokers, Traegers, blackstone griddles and pizza ovens, I am at well over 20 units. Building new patio areas to spread them out. Have to say went with the Halo 16 after your comparison with the blackstone 16. Just unboxed it! Keep up you channel. The only issue I am running out of room for more units! Lol
How does Blackstone go from that crazy overpriced pizza oven to this wanna be Coleman camper grill pizza unit. The entire assembly looks cheap and flimsy. The propane connector unit is in the worst place possible and with the adapter to the 20lbs take, that is just wonky in my book. I know you set things up for the best use possible. But in a camping format or outside format, it really seems to be awkward. Again as always, thank you for showing us these products. But I wouldn't pay more than 150$ for this thing, it is not worth the pricxe, plus the edge of the crust is burnt also. Must be sugar in the dough again.
Thanks for watching! I did change dough supplier because the other ran out. Agreed on the propane connection, I also agree that it, like it’s bigger brother is overpriced
Nice review. If I was getting one, Halo would be at the top of my list.
Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback
You cooked it on HIGH, it says to turn down to LOW once you put the pizza in
lol, it also says “adjust the temperature while cooking to achieve desired results”. Thanks for Watching!

I'm standing in line for tickets to the Leggero vs. Halo bout promoted by pizza oven expert Tom Horsman! I predict a 1st round KO by Halo.

For the price the Halo versa 16 is superior 8) 😁

@timdeleij7105 Thanks for watching Tim! Appreciate the feedback
Never use cornmeal at those temperatures. It is oily, burns easily and tastes horrible.
Thanks for Watching!
Agree too small! Unless you aren’t hungry! lol
Thanks for watching Craig!
