      Stargazer I know, it was funny when Nigel said it. It means he’s learning to be happy in his own skin. I love him to bits

    I love Nigel. He’s amazing and as a soccer ref I always watch his style. He did SA vs NZ yesterday. Did a great job.

    Top ref in the world - I hope other refs aspire to his level of understanding of the game and his very high reffing standards. Legend indeed!

    What's the penalty for calling a rectangle a square?

    • @stayspicy9456
      @stayspicy9456 3 года назад

      He said TVs are square. Not all TVs are a square. Totally different. What's the penalty for not understanding basic English?

  • @misterocain

    Class act and very useful. So many times commentators don't explain the reason for offences. Now all needs be done is watch the signs from the ref. Bit obvious really.

    I'd like to know how long you allow advantage to be played after a penalty?

    One question. How are penalties (i. e. offsides) enforced?

    • @StarryNightGazing
      @StarryNightGazing 5 лет назад +8

      the offended team can choose between
      -kicking at goal (from the tee or with a dropgoal) for 3 points
      -kicking the ball out and having a lineout in favour of their team from where the ball came out of the field
      -tapping the ball with the foot and attacking in free play
      -having a scrum in favour

  • @tezzalenko

    When was the last time anybody saw the ball not fed into the second row? It's like watching a rugby league scrum these days
