🌯 I agree that getting both is the most optimal strategy, especially with the SUBs on these cards ending soon. Just gotta watch out for the 5/24 and 1/30 rules!
I've gotten three Ink Cash cards in the past six months all using my SSN. 90k*3 = 270k from bonuses. Entire spend requirement at Office Depot when running Visa and Mastercard gift card promos. 6k*5 = 30k; 30k*3 = 90k from spend. 360k UR points as a sole prop in around 7 months. Using the gift cards to prepay rent, utilities, insurances, subscriptions, etc. THE card to have imo.
so you bought a bunch of gift cards from office depot and those all count toward your welcome bonus spend? I almost thought that wouldn't be allowed. Isn't there a fee to activate those gift cards? I'm interested in doing this...
Looks like be bought the gift cards at Office Depot to take advantage of the 5x pts category. But he is not using the gift cards to pay off the gift cards via money orders as others have done in the past. He is using those gift cards to pay for "life spend" that 1) normally wouldnt be allowed using credit cards and 2) to super leverage the 5x pts for gift cards at merchants that would only have 3x or 1x on the spend. As an example, he could use the visa/mc gift cards at his local grocery store which if paid directly with the credit card would only be 1x. As to the activation fees, Office Depot and Staples run periodic specials where u can buy Visa and MC gift cards with no activation fee. Sounds like he took advantage of those offers to cover his entire minimum spend for the bonuses! Well played!
Sebby is credible and my go too for credit card info. He is well reasoned and intelligent. The info he gives is is actionable and reliable. Well done Sebby! My request is to do a few more episodes for average income, lower spenders. We travel a bunch and cut spending on everything else.
🌯 I was able to apply a day before the 90K offered expired, been eyeing this card for like 12 months waiting on 5/24. The plan is to apply and hit the bonus on all 3, just have to space them out according to projected spend.
🌯Thank you for this info! Thankfully I was able to get the Ink Cash and Unllimited while they both had the $900 offers. I spaced out the applications 60 days apart!
I’m always here to support my boi Sebby🌯. I’m $75 away from getting the 90k bonus on the Ink Cash with over a month to go to meet the spend requirements. I was thinking about getting the Ink Unlimited before the 90k bonus ends but I really can’t justify another $6k in spend right now but I’m thankful that I was under 5/24 and was able to take advantage of the welcome bonus for the Ink Cash.
Curious, If you have an existing Chase Unlimited personal why would you apply for Ink Unlimited? 1.5x on personal card for catch all. Ink Cash has the 5% office supply store category which is gold.
I gardened for a while to get below 5/24 with the intent of going for the CSP. Since the CIU and CIC don't affect 5/24, though, I went for those first and then got the CSP. I earned nearly 300K Chase points last year just by getting that strategy right.
@@alexthai5223 in credit cards terms, gardening is when you intentionally let your open accounts get older and don’t apply for any new personal credit. The goal is to not have your number of accounts increase on your personal credit and this is usually done so people can get approved for a credit product down the road from a bank such as Chase that has rules about how many new accounts you can have and still be approved for an account with them.
🌯 Sebby, could you theoretically use one of the Ink cards as a replacement/swap for the Chase Trifecta? For example, depending on the use case, you can CIC in place of the Chase Freedom Flex?
🌯 Already had the CIC from last year. Will probably pick up the CIU to get the bonus before it disappears. Glad you reminded us about 5/24 because I had to double check when my accounts were opened. Still new to this game.
Some banks will allow u to fund a new account using a credit card. There r limits and such but as long as u have the cash in another account, you fund the new acct at Bank 1 with the credit card, hit the min spend, bank the sign up bonus then pay off the credit card using already existing cash feom your acct at Bank 2. Aside from any small fee its basically just moving cash through your credit card from one bank to another.
I'm grandfathered into the Ink Plus and my annual fee just came due is that a card still worth it as is or should I migrate over to the Ink preferred or downgrade it to the Ink Cash since I already have the Sapphire preferred on the personal side?
I want to apply for both ink business cards and my plan is to get the ink cash in the summer since I’ll be out of the 5/24 by then, but I was wondering if I could apply for a different business card before the summer comes. I got a letter in the mail for the Bank of America Business Advantage Unlimited Card and also have an offer on my online account for it. Just was wondering if I apply for this card as it’ll be my first business card, if it will affect my chances of getting one of the ink cards after I fall out of the 5/24 by July? I am someone who would love to get as many cards as possible, but if it is too much or I should hold off on it I will, but just wanted to see what your opinion was for it.
So I am new to the game and no chase cards yet, I was going to go for the CSP but I am wondering if I should go for an ink card first since the 90K is going away pretty soon.
Loved Ink cash and got approved back on December 2022 with little bit under 3k CL but recently just requested for an increased and chase just gave me another 6k. Lol of course, I’ve made it to 6k spending with 45 days, of course chase does wanted my business. Overall it is a great cards with a lot upside of perks within those 5% categories but the only downside it would capped up to 25k per years. Which it is too little for my spending habits😂
Chase care if you use the card to buy gift card I could use in a different category? Or do I just get x1 untill spend is met. That seems to take away reason to get card
All chase knows is that you bought stuff in the 5x category at an office supply store. They dont necessarily know exactly what you bought or what you plan to use it for. If im not mistaken, it just codes to Chase as "office supplies" for anything u buy at an office supply merchant. Amazing hack for 5x!
I applied for tge CIU and was denied 3 months ago and last week applied for tbe CIC and got approved😊… one question can I apply later for the CIU and move credit from CIC if I need to ? 🌯
🌯 🌯 🌯 Great Video As Always! Is 5/24 Still Applicable for authorized users as well? I have applied/added for 4 credit cards in 24 months. I Own 1, Co-Own 1, Account Manager On 1 and Authorized User On One.
You could run the office supply game and buy gift cards for 5x points at office depot or staples but turn around and use those gift cards to pay for your uncategorized spend. They have visa and mc gift card promos regularly at the office supply stores where there is no activation fee on the gift cards.
🌯 question. But my son is an authorized username on most of my cards. How does this help him when they don't actually ask for him personal information beyond his name. 🌯
🌯 Just got both with the 900 offer! Thank you for the amazing business content Sebby! One question, does business card limit utilization effect your business credit score like personal credit cards do?
its a really high spend requirement for those welcome offers, I'm nervous I wont be able to hit it since my businesses dont have a ton to spend on right now.
90k Chase Ink offers ending soon! 💳 Chase Ink Unlimited: www.asksebby.com/go/ciu
💳 Chase Ink Cash: www.asksebby.com/go/cic
Sebby is putting out content faster than McDonalds puts out Big Macs. I’m Loving It. 🌯
So glad I watched this after your latest video on the ask Sebby channel. Im on 4/24 and I will get both of these now before ventureX.
Thanks Sebby

Doesn’t Chase balk at manufactured spending? Buying gift cards like that seems like playing with fire, and asking Chase to shut you down.

Because it costs pretty much nothing. There's no impact to 5/24 and you get a fat bonus.

Ana first is pretty difficult to book actually

I enjoy watching you on RUclips ❤
🌯 Thanks! This cleared up how I can get a CIU under my biz and leverage it with my personal CSR. 😊
You should put your old music a couple years ago back, because I liked your channel, I miss that music

Did the Ink Cash first at end of January, got that bonus and just got the Ink Unlimited. Used a few bank accounts out there that take CC funding
what do you mean bank accounts that take CC funding?

Your opinion on using business card for personal expense just so it can hit the intro bonus if for some small side hustle?
I want to apply for both ink business cards and my plan is to get the ink cash in the summer since I’ll be out of the 5/24 by then, but I was wondering if I could apply for a different business card before the summer comes. 🌯 Can the points for either card be transferred to a CSR card jointly owned with my spouse?
Yes!
Got Ink Unlimited recently for this crazy offer. Already have Ink Plus for that 5X at 50k cap.
🌯Sebby, how can I get more Ink Cash cards? I remember you mentioned a way in another video. Thanks!
Thanks Sebby! 🌯

I just got denied for the Ink cash. So confused. CS is way over 750 and I already bank with chase. Will call and ask for reconsider.
Were you over 5/24 ?
So the cash CC intro offer gives $750 back or 75000pts?
I have heard that you can have 2 ink cash or 2 ink unlimited cards and get the intro bonus twice? Any truth to this?
I applied for tge CIU and was denied 3 months ago and last week applied for tbe CIC and got approved😊… one question can I apply later for the CIU and move credit from CIC if I need to ? 🌯
Yes, you can shift credit limits around between accounts.

I'll probably get one to pay my taxes with this year.
Got both. Ink cash is so overpowered with Staples and Office Max visa gift card. 180k UR 😊
🌯 just got approval for the Ink unlimited 🙌🏾
Nice!
As a spending card the CIC unfortunately has no value for my business, since all its spending is uncategorized.

They have visa and mc gift card promos regularly at the office supply stores where there is no activation fee on the gift cards.
I got ink unlimited 7 days ago. Any tips on how I can get ink cash with higher bonus? How hard is it to get around 1/30 rule?
Getting my daily dose of Ask Sebby financial knowledge😎
🌯 question. But my son is an authorized username on most of my cards. How does this help him when they don't actually ask for him personal information beyond his name. 🌯
Sorry for the typos, duo language keyboard.

So, if one gets a business credit card, how often should one use it in order to keep it open?
In my experience, every 11/12 months is fine.
@@AskSebbyBusinessThanks.
