With the Narn and the Dilgar out of the picture I think they may as well be!

They also show a rather surprising ability to reverse engineer even extremely advanced tech like Shadow tech.

I don't think they will become a superpower so much, in fact I think there won't be any superpowers around after the events of B5 but more a situation with two great powers (the Minbari Federation and the Earth Alliance) and four regional powers (the Drazi Freehold, the Narn State, the Centauri Republic and the Brakiri Syndicate) plus a bunch of minor nations all grouped into the Interstellar Alliance. We don't know much of the institutions of the IA beyond the fact that the Rangers (and their White Star fleet) act as their military arm, but I think they could have a Security Council similar to that of the real life UN with the Minbari, Humans, Narn, Centauri, Brakiri and Drazi as permanent members and four other species selected as temporary members on a rotatory basis plus a General Assembly.

Drazi were on course towards becoming a superpower, but the Interstellar Alliance doesn't play to their strengths. It's far too peaceful and cooperation oriented, their military might doesn't do that much any more

Every Drazi is gansta until Vir Cotto comes back with one of Londo's swords.
I'm sorry, I had to say it.

They were a very ambitious race, and they aren't averse to taking advantage of other smaller races - as seen in the beginning of Season 5 Ep. 03.
Also during the Alliance/Centauri war they along with the Narn were responsible for the bombardment of the Centauri home world. While they might not become a "superpower" they might have the ability to make more demands in the Interstellar Alliance and ask for a bigger seat at the main table - especially considering the Vorlon's have left our universe and the Centauri quit the IA.

The Vorlons and Shadows left our Galaxy, not the universe. In some books its explained that Hyperspace is partly created by mass in normal space. So leaving the galaxy is really hard to do because hyperspace is extremely unstable. You have to have tech on par with the first ones to leave the galaxy.

I always wished we got to see the Vree more. They had awesome looking ships and had been visiting earth for hundreds of years.

The drozy comes off as slow witted and less intelligent in the show. However, it's also mentioned in the show by London Malari that they are actually quite intelligent. They also utilize a slow expansion method, which is incredibly methodical to expand their territory.
I do not think they will become a superpower because of the advantages caused by the chaos of the times they live in. I think this is because their expansion techniques are too methodical, making it too slow. I do not think they'll be pushed. They will continue to actually expand their territory. However, I do not think they'll make huge leaps and bounds in expanding their territory and becoming a superpower.
I think ultimately they will become a very strong mid-range in size power within the Galaxy. Too strong militarily for anyone to conquer yet not powerful enough to become a superpower.

So personally ied say no they are power hungry but I don’t think they are smart enough as a race to move up to the next level, there also really isn’t any room and now that the IA is a thing and the rangers they don’t have the room to take advantage of one of the other NAW which would have been a possible route before the Alliance came to power.
There only hope of becoming superpower would be for the Alliance to fall or for something akin to the shadow war to restart so the alliance is distracted long enough for them to bully their neighbours into getting more power.

The drazi are much more advanced than the Earth Alliance, before they started using minbari and shadow technologies. The particle cannons of the warlock and the defence grid were given to them by the drazi as acknowledgement of their help in the dilgar war, after their relief fleet got mauled in hyperspace.
They effectively stalemated the dilgar, didn't just hold them.
The reason they have small ships is how they fight; honor and individual action are prominent among them. They take the risk of smaller, more numerous ships to allow each 'captain' to bite the enemy. Plus they were surrounded, they didn't have room to grow their space. They had the resources. They didn't have the room to use them like the EA did.
Heck, they have homegrown artificial gravity technology but don't use it in their sunhawks, they're a warrior species in all but name.
