The BaByliss trimmer I repaired for my barber is not exactly the same as in the video. But the 1cm square subsidiary PCB with the on/off switch (and nothing else) mounted on it is the same. So I was able to remove the faulty switch and replace it with a locally-bought identical substitute. The switch only has 8µA flowing to signify "on". Anything that delicate should really have gold-plated contacts!
Rapid blue flashing: Your trimmer is charging and you have less than 15 minutes of charge so far. Slow blue flashing: Your trimmer is charging and you have more than 15 minutes of charge. Solid blue: Your trimmer is now fully charged.
@@barberslounge as long as the blue light is rapid are the Trimmers still working ?? After how long hasn’t slowed down…are there any other lights Coker’s indicate something else..green or red for example
My Babyliss trimmer is slightly larger than the one you show but very similar in taking apart etc. My problem is that I don't get any lights on when I charge it, and when I use it, I get a red flashing light, but I think it seems to have been charged after being left plugged in all night.
@@408_jose5 same with mine, I'm wondering if I overcharged the battery and fried it or something. Because I charged em and forgot about em and left em on the charge for a week or so, and now they won't work at all. The light will blink when I switch em on but that's it.
@@davidsevita6945 I tossed mine, they were free for me cuz I got from the Xmas party at my job. I loved em but will not be buying this brand trimmers. My Conair cheap clippers have outlasted these expensive ones.
Truly that video helped me i was thinking to change the battery on the Babyliss Pro Clippers and if they are build the same way inside as the trimmer that i own it too so hell no just gonna get new or even used clippers on ebay thanks
All I’m saying is that Andis and wahl which are 2 brands that been around over a 100 years rarely advertise and almost never hear complaints about their products……don’t follow the babyliss hype train, a product they expensive which constant problems is a robbery and a slap in the face….

That is a bummer….. my fxs’ just gave out over this passed week now I’m down a trimmer. Wish it was as easy as the babyliss clipper battery.
Maybe it will change in the future, but they do keep improving them. So buying a new one might be worth it
What does it mean when the light keeps blinking…while the clippers are charging @Barbers Lounge??

¿Qué significa que mi trimmer después de haberla cargado siga parpadeando cuando ya la desconecté?
What does it mean that my trimmer keeps flashing after charging it when I have disconnected it?
Battery has only 15 min of charge left
I have a problem with mine I put them to charge and they say their charging and when I take it off the charger and turn it on it doesn’t turn on
Anyone know how to fix this problem

You figure it out?
Where you get the battery

Can you please help me😢,i buy a babyliss trimmer from somebody and it not charge i need your help please
Try a different charger first, if that doesn’t work I would take it apart and see what’s going on
When I charge the battery it blinks but it doesn’t seem to be charging but when I turned it on while charging the light is solid no blinking
Trying to figure out why
What do i do if my trimmers wont turn off. When i turn them on the dont turn off until they basically die
I would take them apart and see what’s going on with the switch mechanism
Happening rn any tips ?

It is well built that for sure. I take them apart to clean but i don't open that white case for the battery lol
So this "Pro" company basically sells a lot of professional e-waste (making things much more expensive and less sustainable).
