Thanks for the video, if you cut battery and motherboard off the motor, how are you going to re-attach the replacement? I think you would have to re-solder it. You possibly might of messed up your clippers. 😮

Hi, even though you got the battery out, it is not a good practice to prime the battery out with a sharp and metallic tool. It is best with a non metalic piece. Good video though

Missed out on the originals. Picked up the Vougers Z clipper. Loved it. So i ordered the metal ones. Not a fan of the new covers, though.

I’ve tried all 3 and while they all perform nearly identical metal instincts are my fav had to buy. the metal back and vibration difference is big for me and something about the cutting blade on the metal instinct is just butter🔥 nice review brotha!

All I’m saying is that Andis and wahl which are 2 brands that been around over a 100 years rarely advertise and almost never hear complaints about their products……don’t follow the babyliss hype train, a product they expensive which constant problems is a robbery and a slap in the face….

I’ve noticed that I’ve seen more complaints about babyliss more than compliments on the internet…in my opinion I don’t understand the hype, sure I guess it’s considered popular but when it comes to comparing other brands such as Wahl and Andis who are 2 very experienced given the fact both have been around over 100 years each… wahl and Andis are very confident in there products and aren’t worried about the next hottest product that’s gaining popularity…. Babyliss has also been around for quite to sometime since the 1960 which is over 50 years… negative customer feedback on dysfunctional products that I honestly feel is made from low quality cheap material people are starting to doubt their products for the price they cost it shouldn’t come either minor problems from the start….i hope people keep their receipts when the clippers or trimmers start to cause issues…. Their 2 year warranty has gotten so much calls and emails that they literally changed their policy on certain specific items that aren’t covered by warranty lol … so like I said … forget all these brands that are boasted by thousands of different barbers all across the country, everyone each got their own opinions…babyliss is wack unstable short life span that has a great marketing team who khows barbers in this generation like to keep up with one another product wise ….

And when the battery is good but it doesn't charge?

def a loud clipper but it is a must for my skin fades. I prefer fading with it 00000 up to 1then switch to .5 plastic, it makes me so fast. ive had it for 2 years and seems to have a bat/elec problem so I'm pulling out my corded 76 to get thru tomorrow until I get a new cordless.

Im a babyliss barber. And time to take a new one for me. I don't care about price of the clippers. Between boosted and snap wixh one is better . Remember price is off the answer. I like that snap is easy to clean and reloads. Seeing boost though last 3-4 hours and smaller,what about snap one reload how much time gives u its less then the boosted?

Unscrew the blade from the clippers, use any blade guard that you most likely already have, put the blade in the clipper guard, make adjustments in the clipper guard, screw the blade back on the clipper. Perfectly aligned zero gap blade at no additional cost

Is there any difference in material? The Boost fx is being sold as all metal. Even though the regular gold fx has a plastic body amd just a metal grip.

When I charge the battery it blinks but it doesn’t seem to be charging but when I turned it on while charging the light is solid no blinking

I’m just brought a used one and the motor where it blow cool out of the vent on the side goes hot after 5 mins of used, is that normal?

I've had my 76 since 2005. Still operates as new. I had to finally replace the switch (5 minute job). Great product and video !

What about the fxone that also has an interchangeable battery? I believe that one came out before the snap fx. Is that one the same as the boost and snap?
