    I loved this, If you want to add a little more flair, I like to use a fan to flip over the card its great cover if you want to swap the facer back onto the surface immediately after. Just cut the chosen card from the bottom to the top whilst you ask them to try to flip it over again :) Performed this a few times and I love it because its just so effortless, staple trick!

      I suggest buying a full deck of double backers if you are using bicycle cards. A full deck is only about $8 and making them takes quite a bit of time if you want them to be 'perfect'.

    • @WrenCubes
      @WrenCubes 7 лет назад

      Torn Devil the civil war bycicle deck has a double in it

    • @seanhsieh6158
      @seanhsieh6158 6 лет назад

      Torn Devil pretty sure this is 8 months late but I find a blank card to work just as good. I too dont have a double back but i pretty sure not many people have seen a blank card either so you could use on of those. If you dont have a blank card you can find videos of how to make them. Its really easy.

    • @ellusionist
      @ellusionist  7 лет назад +1

      That's a Faro shuffle. There's a knack to it, but really what you're seeing is how you do it - you just line the cards up and apply a little pressure and they weave together.

  • @ElsewhereGaming

    The only gripe I have about this is it being a tad bit unconventional because to perform the top change the hands have to come together just briefly and after doing it once or twice the spectators are going to obviously catch on to the fact that a switch is occurring since there is no reason behind the hands coming together every time the card is being placed onto the table.

    • @ellusionist

  • @velizarmitrev7510
    @velizarmitrev7510 6 лет назад

    Just dropping a small tip from me. If some people have problem with the top change you can switch the card with a simple double lift because its a double backer. You just have the double backer on top of the deck and when you get the card you put it face up on the deck and you do a double lift. This way when you turn it you get the double backer and the normal card is left on the deck. When you get the double backer you do the same thing and so on. Or you can use both the double lift and the top change so they wont suspect you of switching the cards. Just swapping between the two methods mid-performance. Hope it makes sense!
