The dolphins head out from there west towards Makua Bay every morning. There they frolic all day and then swim back in a line, two by two, as the sun sets.
One of us did use a belt for this trip, but usually it depends. If it's pretty shallow, we don't bother with weights, but once it gets deeper, weight makes it much easier.
Wow electric beach has dolphins too?? I know they got sea turtles but damn i have to hit up that spot. I just been going to beaches in north shore even waikiki but need to go back out too electric beach.
There weren’t any places nearby when we went in July, but there are several resorts within 15 minutes that probably have kayak rentals among other water activities
It’s possible, but it is very difficult to predict when and where they will travel since they are wild. However, last year a local did tell us that they like to swim by this area often!
Beautiful videos! These dolphins seem very relaxed around you. You must have a good vibe - good demeanor. Thank you. Much Mahalo and Aloha Aina.

That is so freaking cool!! I’m going to Oahu for the 1st time next week. Staying in Ko Olina. Can’t wait to snorkel!
Have a great trip!
Avoid everything west of there after dark. Trust me. 😎🤙

Beautiful. I hope this is still open
Great video! Did you use a weighted belt for diving btw?

…so I don’t end up as shark food when I go diving?
amazing video! do you roughly where at the eletric beach did you see them?
It was approximately 150 yards straight out from the fenced area, near where the water is rippling more than the surrounding area.
@@powerlife6971 around what time?
It was about 8am in July!
Sounds like Crywolf!
do you live on Oahu? Will you take others out like a tour guide? (for pay of course)
We do not live there, sadly, but I'm sure there are plenty of great tours available!
Will I be able to see dolphins in the beginning of April? What time is best to go
We saw them in late July so it's hard to say, but one local diver said they pass this location nearly every day during the summer.
Man I've snorkeled there like 8 times and never seen a dolphin. I think I need to hit it earlier as I'm usually there in the afternoon
We went around 8-9am, maybe that could work out for you too!
@@powerlife6971 I'm gonna do it! Going in mid Feb. Thank you
You have to go past the three feet deep marker.
Is there any kayak rentals near by?

What time did you go there?
This was about 8am during mid-July!
is this only possible to see during summer or winter too ?

Winter too! We saw them last weekend :) ruclips.net/video/IcuGkY3A2cE/видео.html
